Pros: Works great. I needed something to boot off of for manual bios updates and other misc boot disk required issues (updating RAID card BIOS). Nothing was required to make it work, plug it in, boot it up, good to go.

Cons: None, solid construction, cord is a little short, but is quite manageable.

Other Thoughts: One issue a few of you may find, if you're having trouble booting off a boot disk using this, try going into bios and disabling the A: drive on your main bios "standard" screen. Sometimes it can conflict when booting. I only had to do this on my Gigabyte board, not my MSI. Just a heads up.

It's a floppy...

Pros: It works to update my BIOS's.

Cons: It ain't purdy, it ain't sexy, it ain't fast.

Other Thoughts: The thing simply does as it is supposed to do. I don't really use it for much though...

Pros: I needed to remove my internal floppy to make room for a fan. This external floppy installed without needing included drivers and became my A drive without me having to anything except plug it in.

Cons: Why hasn't somebody come up with a good replacement for the floppy. The is the 21st century.

Other Thoughts: I never use a floppy but ther might be a day where I need to install a driver so it's good to have one.
