4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I like the size and key preasure. Very solid build.

Cons: Once in a while, a key will hang. I type slow so it doesn't hurt me, but it might you. Does not hang very long, tho.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I would buy it again.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Silent and...Works

Pros: The first thing I noticed was how solid this thing felt. Besides being aluminum, everything is solid and doesn't rattle around. You can barely hear yourself typing on it, Keyboard is very responsive and easy to type on. Much better if you're used to typing on a notebook computer also. Takes up very little deskspace. Keyboard prop stands are firm too. Comes with a PS/2 adapter incase you need the extra USB port.

Cons: Only con I would see is that it's notebook style. But it was actually a pro for me since I'm so used to it. People who are used to a full sized layout might find it a bit cramped, as other reviews have mentioned

Other Thoughts: I will definately pick up another one of these for my next build. Never bought HIPER products until now, but this is a great first impression from them.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat quality, but...

Pros: Super build quality, good tactile feel, low profile and small footprint. The function keys are fine; they work on XPx64 and do not occupy unwarranted space given that most of us rarely use these function keys.

Cons: Key layout is too dense.

Other Thoughts: The keypads are the same size as a full sized keyboard with exceptions: the right shift key, control keys and the number pad zero key are smaller to make space for nesting the arrow keys within the keyboard layout without any wasted space. On a larger keyboard, the number pad and arrow keys are both offset from the letter keys. Even though I primarily use a laptop, with my XL hands I'm finding that this layout is cramped and I get a large number of typos. The keypad is quite quiet, and while the keys are the same height as a Dell M90 laptop I own, the keys feel slightly gooey compared to the laptop. I feel that this keyboard would be twice as good if made at least 1/2" wider, allowing for bigger shift and control keys, and separating the arrows a small amount. While the search for the perfect keyboard continues, this keyboard is a thousand times better than the Dell keyboard that came with a new workstation.

2 out of 5 eggsundesireable

Pros: its small and the outside is pretty stiff

Cons: its heavy, the usb connection refuses to work, certain key combinations will not work, hotkeys are not impressive

Other Thoughts: for the money, I expected more than this... this is just a small keyboard with a novelty metal surrounding it

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: this keyboard is my 1st since 2002 and im very impressed on the feel of the keyboard. i hate laptop keys cause there flimsy but this keyboard is more solid and very sleek. i love the slim look of the keyboard and its very small. it has stands in the back so your keyboard can tilt more to you which is a good thing. it feels very solid when typing/gaming.

Cons: none that i can think of yet.
