3 out of 5 eggsYou Get What You Pay For

Pros: Reasonable size
Keys fine when pushed
Volume control is flawless
The texture of the keys makes them feel a bit gritty and easy to hit

Cons: Some keys need to be pushed harder than others for them to always register
Sleep key doesn't work (at least for me)
Feels cheap (to be expected)

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for with this keyboard. It is a cheap working keyboard with volume control.

3 out of 5 eggsupdate

Pros: Have to update my previous 5 star review...
Pros:
Cheap, slim, small

Cons: Upon some longer term usage, some problems became apparent with the action of the keys not registering. It's kind of "squishy" in that some keypresses do not register, especially the spacebar. This got so annoying I spent another 15 bucks and got a logitech, and declined to return this one since the refund would be almost as much to ship back

4 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Very quiet. Solid feeling. Good so far

Cons: Not as thin as I thought it'd be from the pictures.

Other Thoughts: It's not apple keyboard thin by far, but what would you expect at this price. It definitely seems durable and solid, doesn't have a cheap feel. The travel distance is shorter than a normal one of course. But if you like thinkpad keyboards, I think you'd probably like this, though the thinkpads have a bit more of a tactile "click" feedback, this one's squishier.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent inexpensive keyboard

Pros: Quiet, good tactile feel, full size backspace key, audio and sleep keys work with Windows 7 without loading special drivers, amber indicator lights are not distracting, all plastic yet feels decently built, very clean and compact lines.

Cons: Low profile keyboards like this one just don't have quite as nice a feel as keyboards with full height keys, however, if you are a heavy laptop user you may be used to (or even prefer) this style. At this price point you just don't get features such as advanced controls and back-lighting. Some may consider the very light weight to be a con.

Other Thoughts: Amazingly well designed/engineered and manufactured for such an inexpensive keyboard. The only models I liked better had full height keys and/or were several times the price. Other low price, wired keyboards I looked at had either a very mushy feel, ps2 plug instead of USB, or really poor design/lay out.

Quiet
Durable (note ownership of only 4 months)

Cons: Lacks media play/pause/seek buttons.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a cheap, effective keyboard for everyday use, this in the one for you.

5 out of 5 eggsGood design low cost keyboard

Pros: 1. Quiet keys.

2. The rubber bumps on the bottom front keeps keyboard from sliding around.

3. This keyboard helps me feel with my big fingers before I commit to a key-press. I don't notice the extra stiffness and my fingers are trained to know where the keys are. Of the old keyboard this replaced, the keys where very touch sensitive. I used it for a year and I was never able to type without errors unless I looked at the keyboard. I like the slight stiffness of this keyboard better.

Cons: The sleep button is in the area of the keys and although it is low profile, I would prefer they placed it off to the side or top of the keyboard.
