Love it, Love it, Love it!
- Pros: I don't know how much has changed about this keyboard since I use the OLD E06401COMB model, but the lay out is exactly the same. I am buying another one!
The one I bought was a badly abused display model, legs broken off and missing, but it is the best keyboard I have ever owned. All other parts of my machines have changed, but this keyboard has lived through three machines.
I know I should take it apart and clean it more often, but in all these years I have only given it a deep cleaning twice and it still functions perfectly! I am NOT buying a replacement keyboard. I am buying another keyboard for a second computer. I would buy it at twice this price! Bless NewEgg that I don't have to!
- Cons: Someone complained about the feel of the key action on this keyboard. It is a keyboard with a heavier touch required, so if you like a feather touch key action this one is not for you. Personally I love it, I am not the worlds best typist, not for accuracy or speed but with the deep stroke on these keys I can 'miss' hitting the key directly and still register the right character since the other key I hit at the same time did not sink far enough.
- Other Thoughts: Others have complained about the layout of the arrow keys. I think it is a much more natural layout, it makes sense to my fingers, functioning more like a D pad to me.
I type a lot and have bad wrists, also chronic tension in my neck and shoulders, other keyboards leave me almost in tears after using them for a long time, not this keyboard! I will never go back to any other type of keyboard, split key or nothing!
Simply the best.

Great keyboard, funny arrow keys
- Pros: Great keyboard, good action, great hand position while typing.
- Cons: Funny arrow key positions make it hard to play games which require them. I've found that just using the arrows keys in the num pad mostly alleviates this problem.
Funny position of Home/Page Up/End/Page Down/Delete/Insert keys. I just don't use these as often because of there weird placement.
- Other Thoughts: Great keyboard for programming, I use it all day with emacs.

- Pros: I have 6 of these on all the house computers they are comfortable to use with great action and quite. my 18 16 and 14 year old sons me and wife wont use any thing else but this keyboard nothing ells compares to this keyboard. our house has been using them for 10+ years
and will continue to use them until they are no longer made. average life span if used every day is about 3 to 5 years IMO maybe longer if your not as rough as we are. we are all heavy gamers, they work well when you are trying to push the button through the keyboard to go faster, this does not seem to damage it at all lol

The best keyboard you can buy at any price
- Pros: These keyboards have the best layout and key action of any I've ever tried. My company uses them and I choose to use one at home. They are cheap enough that when they get worn or too dirty to clean you can just buy a new one. The off white color doesn't match my other computer gear, but it makes it easy to see the keys in dim light. I had a black version of this keyboard with some extra web navigation keys that I never used. The keys on that one did not have the nice crisp action like the white keyboad does.

- Other Thoughts: If you aren't used to an ergonomic shaped keyboard, it will take a couple of days to get used to it. I'd never go back to the standard rectangular layout. Can you say carpal tunnel?
