5 out of 5 eggsIf only they still made them...

Pros: These are great, I don't feel like I'm trying to squeeze my chest together to type (like every other keyboard). Hands where they feel comfy. Hard to use other keyboards now.

Cons: Switches aren't the greatest. The arrow keys annoyingly laid out (but not bin-worthy contrary to other reviews). Biggest con... they aren't made anymore. The new ones are not as nice as what was made 6 years ago... Lame

1 out of 5 eggsNon conforming keyboard ends up in trash

Pros: It does have the natural split layout of the original MS Keyboard

Cons: The dedicated arrow/insert/page up/down home end keys are worthless. Don't buy this keyboard if you use those keys

Other Thoughts: For some reason keyboard manufactures and laptop makers don't realize how important having a consistent/easy to hit cursor control keys are to a some who types a lot more then mouses.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome keyboard !

Pros: Excellent keyboard as always. I could never go back to the old style, wrist-twister.

Cons: The SPACE bar sometimes doesn't register. Got to hit it harder !

5 out of 5 eggsA decade of this keyboard

Pros: I can't use any other keyboard. Seriously. I've been typing of MS Naturals for about a decade now, and I go through about one every 2-3 years (I break them out of overuse and abuse, nothing wrong with the actual product).

They're dirt cheap and made like tanks. They're big BIG so my gorilla hands have no problem typing on them.

Cons: They get a bit loud after a few months of use. I haven't been able to successfully take one apart and put it back together again... yet (but that's probably a personal defect and not one with the keyboard).

Lastly, you will get addicted to this keyboard and you will not be able to function without it for the rest of your life. AND should you break yours, you will end up having to buy one and pay 50 dollars to ship it to yourself if you move to Japan, because they don't sell these guys here. =p Ok, so that's also probably a personal problem as well. =p

Other Thoughts: The little rubber feet on these can fall off, so be mindful of that (and stand ready with some superglue).

4 out of 5 eggsLove the design, however, do not spill liquid on them.

Pros: Great keyboard for me as I am a programmer. Wife loves it. I like the fact you can buy these in a 5-pack as I have 4 kids.

Cons: Do NOT spill anything on these keyboards. In 2 yrs, I have gone through 5 of these keyboards. My old Microsoft Natural keyboard took a lot of abuse over 9 yrs, I would take it apart, clean it, and then put it back together, and it would work. Not these. If you spill any liquid on these, might as well chuck the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Interestingly enough, every time liquid was spilled on the keyboards, it was by the Numerical Keypad, and that Enter key would no longer work, as well as the Z, X and B keys. All other keys worked fine. This happened on 3 of the 5 keyboards.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply the BEST.

Pros: This is...Nothing is better then this. How do I know? This is a first keyboard I bought with my first none-hand me down PC back in the spring 2000 when I started college. It still works, every key and same responsiveness, I don't get pains or cramps, and I feel uncomfortable using regular straight keyboards. This thing is exactly 8 years old, and it seen some heavy college typing and heavy (really heavy) gaming. This is the one thing Microsoft done right!

Cons: Only exists in white, and some keys are turning yellowish. Kinda looks out of place now with all my gaming and other gear on my desk. Not really a con, because when I bought it everything was white - the mice, cases and monitors, and even speakers (still got those as a spare). Oh, yeah, I had to buy a PS/2 KVN switch because of this one.

Other Thoughts: I love it so much, I give it a nice bath now and again. Take it apart, take all my shedding hair and crumbs and other cr@p out, take the rubber key-thingy and whatever isn't a PCB just wash with care and soap. Did a nice go-over with some q-tips and alcohol - this thing would look brand-new if the key's didn't get yellowish with time. Has a rage crack from a fist on the bottom from the non-keyboard related outburst.

4 out of 5 eggsErgonomic: The only way to go!

Pros: Very durable. Machine washable (see below)
The extra space for the hands and fingers reduces typing errors.

Cons: Legs break off too easily.

Other Thoughts: Machine washable.
Yes. I did say that. I own two. When one gets grungy, I stick it in the top rack of the dish washer and run it through a full cycle. I use the spare keyboard until the newly washed keyboard completely dries out (about 1 or 2 weeks).

5 out of 5 eggsBest keyboard ever

Pros: I am a software engineer, so I'm using keyboards to earn a living, and I'm also slightly into gaming. For either professional or recreational use, this keyboard shines. I like the slightly heavy key action, it feels very precise. Ergonomic layout is a must if you care about your wrists.

Cons: Can't think of any.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with Win 7 64 bit , Vista 32 bit

Pros: I bought the original in '98 and it still works great. When I got a Vista computer they said I needed a new keyboard so I bought one of the NewEgg black Naturals with all the bells and whistles and the Y key rarely works on first stroke, the M key is MMMM and you have to hammer the space bar. So after living with that for two years I tried the old white keyboard and it works perfectly on both Vista 32 and Windows 7 64 bit plugged into the PS2 outlet. I mention this because the Microsoft site doesn't list the old Naturals as working with Win 7. Just use the Ctrl key and mouse wheel to zoom.

Cons: Doesn't make coffee.

5 out of 5 eggsClassic goodness

Pros: Simply the best ergonomic keyboard ever. Keys are easy to tap. It's extremely durable (survived 2 tours to Iraq without issues). Easy to take apart and clean. Will last through SEVERAL computers. Great for programmers. No extraneous keys that you just don't need. Did I mention it's durable?

Cons: No frills (but is this really a con??? I mean...I never worry about my fingers hitting any of the non-standard keys!).

It only comes in white!?! Make a black one MS!

Other Thoughts: I've owned 2 of these for several years and planning on purchasing another. I love it. It's the best keyboard ever made. My wife initially hated it...after about a week, she fell in love and hates any other keyboard now. I won't buy any other keyboard than this unless I absolutely have to. I like it so much, that I bought my own to replace my work keyboard.
