5 out of 5 eggsGreat Setup Dont listen to the children

Pros: Great RANGE i have installed several of these, can use it in my driveway! Very Very comfortable, slick look too. I game a lot and have the same results as i do with my razor gaming mice etc

Cons: a lil bit on the large side.....

Other Thoughts: Like ANY other wireless device! If your having issues with the range its because of another device giving off RF leakage.... dont place the reciever next to a usb hub, wireless router etc etc. Have had many trouble calls wich were closed out by moving the reciever a few inches, getting a small hair or fiber out of the mouse lens or simply changing the batteries... also an active cell phone can interrupt the signal as well. Never once had a faulty piece of hardware

1 out of 5 eggsGARBAGE!!!

Pros: There's a green light on the wireless receiver?...

Cons: Keyboard - Aside from having to keep the keyboard a whopping 1" away from the receiver (officially making it a wired keyboard) I had a wonderful time taking the batteries out (mid-game) of a consistently stationary keyboard because apparently gravity can't hold batteries in place properly.

Mouse - With the exception of having to keep the mouse 1 1/2" away from the receiver (making the mouse officially wired), not being able to use the scroll wheel in games, browsers, computers a ball since the wheel is defective and does, in fact, have a mind of it's own.

Other Thoughts: I would rather spend my hard earned money having rusty nails lunged into my retinas, had I more foresight of what I actually purchased

2 out of 5 eggsTried two, both failed the same way

Pros: Just about the best-feeling keyboard there is.

Cons: The first one lasted about a year and a half. Then the screen pointer started jumping all over the place out of control. The mouse could not regain control. I tried everything. I finally just removed the receiver from the machine and plugged it into another computer. Shortly thereafter, the same problem showed up, so I concluded that it was a problem in the receiver.

Microsoft sent us a completely new keyboard/mouse/receiver - kudos to them! - but after six weeks or so, it too began to show the same jumping cursor. It was unusable.

Other Thoughts: Maybe you will get lucky. I really wish ours worked. My wife and I both liked everything about it. But now I am a little leery of Microsoft wireless keyboards. It must be a manufacturing defect.

2 out of 5 eggsit workes, kinda

Pros: i like the split keyboard, and all features...

Cons: very limmeted range, worse then my 3 year old ms wireless combo.

Other Thoughts: not a value, when considering features to cost with range, spend more or less.

4 out of 5 eggsVirgin wireless user

Pros: keyboard layout
battery life
extra keys

Cons: range of wireless is limited(2-3ft)
mouse lag-sometimes
If I find anything else I'll let you know

Other Thoughts: I like the split keyboard and the feel of the keys. I do wish that there was a light for the Num Lock. It saves battery life if not there, but... The distance of the wireless is shorter than advertised. My desktop is setup on my desk's top (hint). So, distance isn't an issue.
The reason I give 4 out of 5 is due to false advertisement. Similar to when you buy a car that is advertised with 30 MPG and it gets under 25 MPG right off the lot. Someone has been playing with the numbers.

5 out of 5 eggscomfortable

Pros: does not hurt your hands or wrists after long periods of typing, a very nice transition from a regular keyboard. good price for a wireless keyboard and mouse package.
shipping was quick.

Cons: the included software must be installed for all features to work correctly- but in the long run this may also be considered a positive due to the fact that the software has some nice customization options.

Other Thoughts: kind of on the large side for a keyboard, but it all helps toward the support of your hands.
media buttons on the keyboard are nice, especially because they all work and are customizable through the provided software.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard, connection info

Pros: At my work, all of our employees who do a LOT of typing insist on having this setup.
Good battery life.
Letters don't wear off.
Just works.

The wireless RF receiver has a PS/2 and USB connector for the K/B and Mouse, however, you only need to plug in the single USB to operate BOTH the keyboard and mouse. I learned this after trying unsuccessfully to find an adapter to convert the PS/2 keyboard to USB, but you don't have to!!
Definitely a pro!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great price. Get one.. or two.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Compatable With Vista

Pros: Good buy.

Cons: The only thing wrong with it is the add says it is compatable with Vista and it isn't not even with the upgrade from
Microsoft.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Wireless keyboard and mouse work well, easy to install, no problems

Cons: Range is only about 4 or 5 feet max which might be a bother to some people who want to surf from the couch

3 out of 5 eggsNot for HTPC use

Pros: Looks nice, solid build.

Cons: Will not work more than 3 feet away. Even inside that range you have to be directly in line with the receiver. Not too high or too low. The wireless is very poor.

Other Thoughts: Fine for computer desk use.
