5 out of 5 eggsIt still holds

Pros: I bought this keyboard because I loved the feel of the keys. 6 (maybe 7) years later I am STILL using it. Wired keyboard.

Cons: None. Would buy again if it was still in production.

Other Thoughts: some of the extra keys are useless without the software which I just don't want to install. The tabs that rise up the keyboard broke off, but that was because my textbook fell on it.

4 out of 5 eggsBoot problems on Dell with Win XP Pro

Pros: Keyboard features quite useful. Price reasonable.

Cons: This particular keyboard model connects via USB port. For some reason, when I used this keyboard with my old Dell Win XP, SP3 computer, It subsequently caused problems during boot-up. When doing either a restart or cold boot, the computer would get to the Dell logo screen and freeze, with the computer emitting a barely audible sound.

The only way to get the computer to continue to boot, was by pressing the F12 key. I discovered this keyboard to be the cause of the boot problem when I happened to disconnect it from the computer, and plugged in another keyboard which uses a PS/2 connection. No further boot issues were noted after the keyboard change-out.
Perhaps this is some problem unique to Dell and/or Win XP.

4 out of 5 eggsnice keyboard

Pros: Customizable keys
Quiet slim keys
All media keys unlike most keyboards.
Slight curve to the keyboard is somewhat helpful.
Soft key texture, not rough or slick
Full Size Backspace key!
Cost me $20 & free shipping, for a quality keyboard. :-D

Cons: Volume keys wouldn't work. Spent hours trying to figure it out.
Problem is solved in my other thoughts.
Drivers should have turned this on when installed!

Other Thoughts: To fix all issues with this or even other media keyboards, you need to go to your start menu, in the run command type "services.msc" run the program, then go down the list in the windows to "Human Interface Device Services" right click this, go to properties, then in the middle of the window it says "startup types" change this to automatic, apply, hit ok, and all should now work magically. (took me 1 1/2 hrs to figure this out)

This also fixed another keyboards media keys i own that is not from microsoft.

Drivers should have turned this on when installed!

5 out of 5 eggsBest Keyboard/Price

Pros: - All buttons offer full customization with the included software.
- Keys are really quiet! If you are looking for a keyboard with quiet keys, definitely buy this one!!
- Best price I found for a full keyboard with 22 extra function buttons.
- Full size backspace key, don't laugh, it's a big deal.
- Works perfect for normal gaming, response is excellent, and keys don't seem to be "wearing off" like the other cheap models out there.

Cons: - You need to hit the F-Lock key in order to use your F keys. Not a big deal, because the keyboard will remember what setting it was at even after reboots and shut downs.
- Escape key is not full size, but not really a big deal...

Other Thoughts: - Keyboard does have an interesting curve upward near the top (not completely flat), it's not a pro or con, just a little different and may take some getting use to...

- Overall, I think this is the best keyboard I have bought in a very, very long time. I would highly recommend this board to anyone, especially if you are looking for a keyboard that works great and has quiet keys.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this keyboard

Pros: - Really quiet keys with a nice feel to them.
- Low profile.
- Useful media keys and short cut keys.
- It also has common Hot Keys labelled under the alpha keys.
- Great price compared to similar products found at Best Buy

Cons: - None.

Other Thoughts: - The built-in wrist rest is small and plastic but I never use those anyways so it's not really a con.

- I recently bought a Razar Keyboard that cost 3 times as much as this and I like this one better.

5 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: This is the best keyboard I've owned. Windows XP3 had all the drivers for it at first boot.
Keys are quiet. Has just about everything one would need in a keyboard. More functions then what I would ever use. Priced right.

Cons: None...YET.
