Pros: I will try to make this review of the Mirror Edition keyboard both comprehensive and honest. The first keyboard that arrived had a nonresponsive (broken)touch panel so in addition to the cons listed below, Razer's keyboard gets 4 stars. Newegg service/delivery/RMA on the other hand gets 5 stars. It seems there are some quality control issues with these keyboards. Razer's mice on the other hand are top notch.
1) Compared to the standard Lycosa, the LEDs appear brighter and the letters are more readable. This is especially important if you are gaming in low light conditions. 2) In game testing of the Lycosa Mirror edition keyboard actually yields a small amount of improvement in moving and responsiveness over a traditional keyboard. Their "Hyper-response Technology" makes me feel more "agile" and responsive since the keystrokes are much closer as well as taking less force to press. 3) The macro capability is to be commended.
Cons: 1) Pray you don't get a faulty touch panel.
2) The glossy exterior WILL attract dust and fingerprints. If you are bothered by this, go for the standard Lycosa. As for me, I do not mind since the primary reason I bought this keyboard was to game in low light conditions. A cleaning cloth is included so you can quickly clean it before your friends arrive...
3) Key tension is not consistent throughout the entire keyboard. Some keys produce a slight tension going down while other keys are slightly less "springy" (this may lead to some keys feeling "cheap" as others have noted. I feel that for the price paid, key responsiveness should be consistent across all keys especially for gamers. This is not a big issue as you don't focus on the keyboard when you're gaming in contrast to typing a paper.
Other Thoughts: The difference between the Mirror edition and the standard Lycosa are as follows:
1) Mirror edition uses polished/reflective black plastic (Reflective color is akin to a black piano) while standard edition uses a grippy coating.
2) Mirror edition has brighter LEDs and more readable text across its keys.
This keyboard matches extremely well with an LGL227WTG monitor as both are glossy black. I would also assume that it would match the style of Razer's mice and mousepads so if you like to match things, this keyboard is for you.
The macro capability, increased in-game responsiveness (shorter keystroke, decreased spring tension), and illumination ability (for low light gaming) are what sets this keyboard apart from the rest.
I would say that overall it has given me a very slight advantage in fps gaming.

Pros: Very responsive, short keythrow, nice texture on keys, and looks great! I love the backlighting, that is my primary reason for buying it.
Cons: Price is a little high, glossy parts scratch very easily. Software is nothing impressive.
Other Thoughts: Have one for my gaming rig, if they were more affordable I would get one for each of the other 3 PC's in my house. Quality product, but Razer, could you PLEASE bring down the price? :)

Pros: This is really nice keyboard thats easy to setup,and has been working Nicely now for one year.Lighted for the late nite Gamer is definately worth extra price.Smooth Mirror finish for easy cleaning.
Cons: Keys Could be a little bigger, but what key boards don't.Unrelated but mouse software is quirky hence the one star

Pros: Love the lighted keys, and the quiet operation. The USB cord is very long which for those of us with towers further away this is great. It is comfortable to use.
Cons: The RAZR software isnt very good, it has caused me some grief, so I just uninstalled it.
Other Thoughts: The keyblocking issue isnt an issue for me, I've yet to come across a scenario where I was blocked from pressing a key.

Pros: Works as advertised
Cons: Keys are extremely slippery - to the point of causing difficulty in typing (hitting wrong key due to finger tips slipping across tops of keys). No ability to increase brightness of illuminated keys - ultimately they're not bright enough.
