Logitech's Keyboards have been leading the competition in every way. The Logitech Deluxe 250 Desktop just continues the trend and with a great price to boot. The 104 keys are in their old familiar places, and the eight programmable function keys at the top will make sure you have easy access to favorite programs and functions like volume controls.
The keyboard is designed to last, and its spill-resistant design is going to keep accidents to minor annoyances. The included laser mouse will give you much less grief because of weird surfaces. This is the keyboard combo to get for a price that is out of its world.
Pros: Logitech name brand and price. Bonus: the most commonly used CTRL- key combinations (cut, copy, save, undo, etc.) are marked on the edges of the keys.
The keys on this keyboard have a lighter spring tension than my original Dell keyboard so presumably I will be able to increase my typing speed a tad. (OK, one can dream.)
Optical mousing is a lot smoother than the old mouse balls method.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I had worn out my mouse that came with my Dell computer four years ago. The Dell mouse was actually a private labelled Logitech mouse. I decided to stay economical with a corded mouse and I figured I might as well replace the keyboard at the same time. Since I had PS/2 connections, this combo fit the bill nicely.

Pros: It's a keyboard. I bought it. It came with a mouse. I am using both with satisfactory results.
The keys feel cushiony, but not too cushiony. There is no loud clackty-clack when you operate them, unless you have long fingernails, I guess.
Mouse seems to function; the resolution feels smooth-ish.
By opting for this combo, I saved two USB ports. Alright! The bundle seems worth it for the incredibly low price I paid. Thanks New Egg!
Cons: Keyboard lacks an 'any' key.

Pros: Love the keys. Nice and high up and very soft to type on. The perfect balance. Everything is laid out well. The Mouse is very average but it works and feels good in the hand.
Cons: No multimedia functions, but I knew that before I bought it. Mouse is nothing to be excited about.
Other Thoughts: If you want a plain, but overall pretty good keyboard/mouse this will do just fine.

Pros: Durable, nicely laid out, keys have a positive feedback to them. PS/2 is still alive and kicking, not everyone wants USB. The mouse is good, not tool light and ergonomic to my hand, cord is adequate length.
Cons: One of the 2 fold up stands did break off, on the bottom but that happens when you drop things.
Other Thoughts: great value for the $$.
