Pros: Blue Cherry MX Key Switches, Stealth Keys, Simplistic Design, Has a nice hefty weight, Feels very sturdy, Braided Cable, Very satisfying click with blue keys!

Other Thoughts: Awesome keyboard for the price, wrote this review with the keyboard! Would definitely recommend, you cant beat these blue switches!

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy, heed the reviews.

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: When it works, wonderful slick little KB, exactly what I wanted.

Cons: It doesn't work well after a month. Backspace key quit working, making writing this review and trying to correct mistakes a nightmare.

Other Thoughts: Newegg won't take it back, going to try Coolermaster directly.

Manufacturer Response:

Trooper Orange,
I'm sorry for the trouble with your Quickfire Stealth. I'd first check under the keycap and make sure that there's nothing obstructing the key and using canned air duster to blow out anything that may be down in there under the switch. I would also double check the keyboard on another system, just in case.

If you manage to clean out whatever was in the way, then you're good! If you find that they keycap itself is the issue, fill out a Part Request form linked below to get a new one covered under warranty. If the issue's persistant and you can't directly see why, you can get an RMA going using the eRMA link attached below.

If you have any questions or need any assistance, use the Contact Us link below so we can help you out directly :)

Regards,
Kevin with Cooler Master

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: Great Feel - has a coated texture on top of the keyboard frame and the keys which make it great.

Stealth keys - Looks very nice especially from the standpoint of someone who never looks at the keys to type.

Weight - Has a great weight to it, great build quality.

Doesn't bend at all if you try to bend, the only way to bend it is if you put a lot of force into; which would probably start breaking.

Has a windows key override which is awesome.

The key remover tool is a must if you have a cherry mx switch keyboard.

The usb to ps/2 connector adapter is nice to have the full n-keyrollover technology but i don't have a ps2 connector on my computer so i just use usb.

Stealth keys #2 - even though the keys are on the front of the keys, you can see the printed key name perfectly fine because of the way its slanted to meet your eyes perfectly.

Cons: Numberpad - not having a numberpad doesnt really bother me, but for like passwords or something it could bother some people.

Taking keys off that are bigger than the letter keys have some sort of brackets on them which can make it somewhat difficult to take off, not really a con but its somewhat annoying.

Other Thoughts: I really like this keyboard, its a big upgrade from having a rubberdome keyboard, that would bend with just the slight pressure on each side. The keys are amazing for me because i'm more of a typist that plays games.

1 out of 5 eggsgarbage, low quality

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: Looks nice with the side-printed ABS keycaps.

Cons: Keyboard failed within two months with multiple random switches getting "stuck" while other keys stopped responding entirely. CM customer support is useless/non-existant.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, CM, you guys need to do some quality control on these boards before they leave the factory. This is my fourth CM TKL board and the others were all defective in some way (two dead on arrival, the other also had defective switches after two months).

Manufacturer Response:

Dear valued customer,
I'm very sorry for the troubles with your Quickfire Stealth keyboard. We'd really like to help you out by making use of our warranty on your Stealth to make sure you have a working keyboard. I'm putting in an eRMA link below for our eRMA registration to get your keyboard replaced with a tested, working replacement.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Design, Questionable Quality

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: -MX blues
-Compact
-Simple, Matte Black
-Cool stealth keys that won't get eroded

Cons: -First keyboard failed
-Lackluster customer support
-A bit expensive for a no frill keyboard

Other Thoughts: This will probably be the last CM product I will buy for a while. The first keyboard failed, and now my second CM mouse is on its way out prematurely. I find their quality questionable. The products are well designed, but quality control and standards are not up to par.

I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that I got a keyboard that only worked for 3 days, then customer support took a week to get back to me, and that my other CM products are not lasting very long. The keyboard itself is nice, but I am not confident it will last me.

2 out of 5 eggsdead after 30 days

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: Fantastic keyboard, compact design, comfortable to type extensively with - probably my favorite keyboard that I've owned and used, despite the title of this review.

Cons: Dispite the overall sturdy design, the usb connector on the keyboard itself is not well supported. As I bought the keyboard to be portable, frequent unplugging/replugging has lead to a sombre morning in which the leds lit up, but the computer doesn't respond to key presses. Dmesg in linux reports a stream of repeated errors to the effect of:
[10851.386799] usb 2-1.4.3: new low-speed USB device number 18 using xhci_hcd
[10851.388167] usb 2-1.4.3: Device not responding to set address.
[10851.590256] usb 2-1.4.3: Device not responding to set address.

In other words, the lights are on but nobody's home.

Other Thoughts: Fantastic keyboard if you mostly plan on using it in just one place, but if you plan on moving around a lot with it, be very careful. Not as durable as advertised.

Manufacturer Response:

Aeva,
I'm sorry for the troubles with your Quickfire Stealth. First off, we cannot guarantee noted function under a linux environment as the keyboard is only designed for Windows OS, so any checks on there cannot be guaranteed verifiable. If the keyboard isn't working on a Windows OS environment on multiple machines, I'd first try to use another USB cable if you had one that could connect. If the issue is with the USB cable, you can request a replacement under the 2 year warranty via the Part Request form linked below. Otherwise, if there's no luck, you can register for an RMA at the eRMA link below.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please come talk to us through Live Chat or in our ticket system via the provided Contact Us link.

Regards,
Kevin with Cooler Master

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Keyboard

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: -Cherry MX Switches (Blues on mine) Rated for 50 million keystrokes and feel fantastic to type on.

-Blank Keycaps (Well, sort of blank) The tops of the keycaps are totally blanked out, and even have an ever so slightly "gritty" feel to them that makes them feel very high quality. The fact that the tops are blank also means that the printing will never wear off on them, so these will last for a very very long time.

-Compact Design- This one is more of a personal preference that depends on what you like to have in a keyboard. I rarely use a number pad to begin with, so I have no problem with forgoing it in favor of the more compact design, but some people who do a lot of data entry or work frequently in excel might find the lack of number pad to be an inconvenience.

Cons: As stated in the Pros section, the lack of numbeberpad may be a pro or a con depending of your personal preference, so I figured I would list it in this section as well. I should reiterate, if you need to enter a 4 digit number and you immediately reach of the numblock, you may want to consider a different keyboard!

Other Thoughts: I really like this keyboard. This is my second Mechanical Keyboard from Coolermaster, my first being the Quickfire TK in Blues, and both have had outstanding build quality. I may eventually buy a set off full blank keycaps to give it the totally blanked out look, but for now the side printed caps suit me just fine.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: MX Blues! and everything else that is advertised about it.

Cons: Nothing worth taking an egg off for.

The cable management groove underneath the keyboard doesn't hold the cord in very well, but a little bit of tape and fix that.

The soft-touch finish to the top makes it prone to showing smudges, but you can just wipe it off with a damp rag. I always try to keep my hands clean while I'm using it. No eating greasy pizza around it!

Other Thoughts: My first mech keyboard. Definitely not going back to membrane!

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!!

This review is from: CM Storm QuickFire Stealth - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Blue Switches and Covert Keycaps

Pros: Great keyboard, good build quality, the side printed keys look great

Cons: some of the keys feel a little cheap, the cable is very stiff, when i remove the cable from the keyboard, it sounds like it may not be disconnecting properly, i hear a click. Will have to see if this issue persists.
