The Kensington 64365 keyboard is slender, sleek and powerful. This slim-design keyboard is easy on the eyes, with an elegant rounded-rectangular shape and contemporary styling. Technologies work in synergy to give you fingertip comfort, convenience and control. The scissor-switch key technology gives the keys a crisp and responsive feel and allows seamless fatigue-free typing. Laptop-like keys look good and also help you type faster and better.
Multimedia hot keys enable one-touch access to various media-related operations, such as volume control and mute, track changes, eject, play/pause, etc. This keyboard also features conveniently located sleep and calculator hot-keys. Elegant, stylish and easy to use: what more could you ask?
Pros: This is probably one of the nicest looking keyboards available. It's small, sleek, and the chrome trim around it looks great. The keys are laptop style, which took some getting used to, but I love it. I now prefer laptop style keys over normal keyboards, which feel clunky and cheap. The hotkeys worked automatically in Windows XP without loading any software.
Cons: Parts of the chrome trim are beginning to fade/scrape off where my hands rest. It's barely noticeable but I thought I'd mention it. Other than that I have no other issues with this product.
Other Thoughts: Overall great product that I would recommend to anyone.

Great board but poor layout

Comments: This keyboard has laptop-like feel. Although its not as good as my dell inspiron 6000 keyboard (for example the space bar is harder to press down), it will save you wrists.
The reason I didn't give this keyboard 5 stars is the poor key layout. I am a programmer and spend a lot of time on the keyboard and think this layout isn't very logical. The bottom 4 keys on the left and right of the space bar, as well as the right five keys (delete/home/end/page up/down/) are also really confusing. In general, these sets of keys are too small for anyone with larger hands (like myself) to be useful. I ended up remapping about 10 keys on this keyboard to get things to feel somewhat at home.
I do like the top 7 function keys. I like how they are spaced and there are only 7 as opposed to logitech boards which have about 7 million special function keys ;)
Overall its a good keyboard but the layout will drive you nuts. Recommended for light use only unless you plan to invest a lot of time relearning how to type.

Pros: *Laptop style keyboard for a more responsive key press. *Price *Sleep Button *Media Player Buttons *Quick Calculator Button(You use this more than you could imagine) *Flips on the back to angle it towards you a little bit *Sleek Design
Cons: *Silver trim will wear with time(About 6 or so months into HEAVY use) where your hands rest(Turns a yellowish color) *They could of added a small space between the delete home pgup pgdn end keys and the backspace enter shift keys. Minor annoyance if you get to typing a little too fast *Food can get between keys if you eat at your computer(Hard to take off and put back on keys if you want to get it out)
Other Thoughts: Amazing keyboard. I own/have owned 3. First one I spilt a drink on and the keys got sticky so I purchased two more. One for reserve and one I currently use now. I got into pc gaming on a laptop and i use F2,1,2,3 for movement instead of W,A,S,D because i find it more comfortable on my hand and this is the only keyboard I can find which fits perfectly and comfortably for my gaming use.
If you are considering a laptop keyboard for your desktop look no further. You will not be dissapointed in the functionality or the amazing.y low price. Price may be low but Quality is extremely high.

Pros: This keyboard is a work horse. I've been using them for about 4 years now...had one die.....Kensington replaced it without any questions. I have one on each of two computers and a spare on the shelf. They're perfect. Yeah , yeah...the silver boarder DOES wear off...but....I'm on the PC all the time (10 hours a day working, then email and personal stuff later)....that wear....to me is "character", shows the thing is earning it's keep so to speak. And it's not like it wears off in a week.
Cons: A bit pricey....but worth it.
Other Thoughts: 5 eggs for the keyboard...and 10 eggs for New Egg

Different, but nice

Pros: - Relatively compact. - Attractive looking. - Very quiet key strokes. - While the layout is unconventional, it is not missing any keys like some compact keyboards.
Cons: - The cord is a little bit shorter than most other keyboards I have.
Other Thoughts: The compact layout and shorter key travel take some getting used to, but I am happy to make the adjustment given the pros. This is officially my new favorite keyboard.
