4 out of 5 eggsDrivers Suck

Pros: the layout and feel is great of the keyboard, the mouse is decent, suits my needs. and the headset is ok, although i would think if you wore it for a while it might get uncomfortable. I like the Keyboard alot though, the mouse and headset were nice perks really IMO.

Cons: Well the drivers on the disk shipped with it do not work in windows 7. in fact my cousin who has the same keyboard has issues with his pc not turning off when powering down. i installed this keyboard today. and guess what.. my pc won;t shut down now either lol So i found that problem >>> the drivers. Had to uninstall them. The Drivers from the website claim to work in Vista and 7. but i have installed them 4 times now and yes they do work for the basic functions but the 3 hotkeys that can be programed to load application etc refuse to be changed no matter what i do. in fact when i manual type a program to load for that particular hotkey it loads it and the base default one i deleted. I am really not happy with the driver issues. but aside from those 3 keys, rest works fine.

Other Thoughts: And yes i saw someone asking about how it works for the game Age of Conan, it actually has a profile for that game too. L4D, CoD5 world at war just not MW2 or the new new games yet. I have been using the Wolfking brand gamer boards but didn't like not having the full keyboard like the number pad etc etc. so this is perfect for me. Aside from the driver issues, Its worth the price or worth more actually free shipping, c'mon its a steal lol.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good stuff

Pros: Nice mouse, decent keyboard, decent headset, good price for the combo

Cons: Finding gaming setups, headset size

Other Thoughts: I'm a big guy (6'6"), so my head isn't small. This thing is kinda uncomfortable. As cheap as this thing was though, I was surprised with the mouse quality and the sound from the headset. Finding mappings or how to make them has been a chase. I am still looking, as I want to map controls myself and setup configuration to match gaming key layouts for the couple of games I do play.

I'd say if you're not adverse to getting use to a new keyboard layout, for the money this is a good setup.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board, Fast Shipping

Pros: -Great/simple hotkey customization with even drag and drop swapping
-Very cheap and free shipping
-Gamepad is very effective once you get familiar with it
-Ordered it on the 29th [Sunday] Received it 2 days later on the 1st!! Excellent Newegg!! get all my upgrades today too!

Cons: -I play tf2 and I noticed how hard it its to hit the number 3 button on the gamepad [#3 and 4 are directly above the W key] which causes me a problem as spy when i need to quickly switch to my knife, I learned if i just quickly "fat finger" the 3 key and slide off it i can switch pretty much without letting go of forward.

-The Website is absolutely confusing and needs to be taken care of. If you want the newest software google the zboard engine and make sure you get the right Bit drivers for your type of OS.

-Mouse didn't have as many buttons as I like, I like to have a side button for reload, but this is just personal preference and not really a con

Other Thoughts: This board might be hard to get used to, but I think that is just a matter of time and patience, this board really has everything you need.

-Haven't tried the headset since I was buying this for the keyboard and mouse, but other reviews said the plastic would pinch their ears. I don't know for long durations but the headset it pretty lightweight and didn't seem to squeeze my head or ears at all.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent keyboard and headphones

Pros: Works

Cons: The keyboard layout is different from the normal MS layout, which make non gaming activities more difficult.

Other Thoughts: Do not purchase if you are not a gamer.

3 out of 5 eggsGaming set

Pros: Price, bundle deal. Keyboard is actually pretty good, and that's why I've got the whole thing: free mouse and headset + gaming keyboard I like.

Cons: Now, I like keyboard, but not the rest of the set. Keyboard is a bit short on right side, so bunch of keys is shared with Num Lock, and sometimes that's frustrating (when you do what this keyboard is not intended for - work :) If you are shopping for your kid's birthday - tis set is a great thing, if he's under 14. Mouse is too small, and uncomfortable. Headset is ok, but it's design brings pain to your ears. Sound quality is good though, and the rest of it is fine.

Other Thoughts: The thing is: gaming keys are placed great on this board. I've used a different Ideazone gaming keyboard before, and this one is just as good, although the previous one was like $89. The rest of set is fine, but I gave it 3 stars not because it doesn't work, but I just don't consider it "gaming". I've got Ideazon Carbon mouse - good stuff. Now I have keyboard to match my set. Headset is a plus, and I'm using it. Mouse is a joke, but hey, I've saved at least $35 on the bundle, so I consider it free spare. Go for it, pal.

4 out of 5 eggsNice deal

Pros: Everything in one box gaming set.

Cons: Not the best quality mouse or headset.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if there were a Merc Stealth gaming package with better mouse and better headset.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeds a better user manual

Pros: The keyboard worked out of the box after installing the software. Includes profiles for many games (but not as many as I had hoped).

The "game pad" area seems to be well thought out, with some larger buttons and a pretty good layout.

Includes three programmable "hot keys".

Cons: The "manual" is not very good. I'd like to learn more about the keyboard, but it seems that I'll need to hit some forums or something to get this information because the manual is lame.

Have not tried the mouse or headset. They both look cheap, but are probably good for backups or something.

I do not like how the number keys on the right side of the keybaord were combined with the arrow keys and the other keys (Insert, Home, Delete, etc). I suspect they did this to keep the width closer to a normal keyboard, but it would have been better if they had used a normal layout for the right side of the keyboard.

I've been playing games using a regular keyboard for about 20 years and the transition to a different type of keyboard is more of a challenge than I had thought it would be.

Other Thoughts: Not sure how to create new profiles yet. For games without a profile, I am stuck using the ASDW keys instead of the game pad area. This does not help me transition to a new key layout because I'm using different keys for different games. The whole idea was to use only one layout for all games. I know that I'm missing something, but again the manual is pretty much useless.

In retrospect, I probably would have been better off getting a gaming keyboard with a "normal" layout (and programmable macros) rather than one with the "game pad" area.

The software needs to be installed and running in order for everything to work correctly. This keyboard is not for people who like to keep the number of background programs to a minimum. I know this is normal for this type of peripheral device and modern computers should be albe to handle a little extra overhead, but that does not mean that I have to like it.

2 out of 5 eggskinda crumy

Pros: silent keys...comes with keyboard mouse and headset, inexpensive

Cons: the mouse clicks loud. the software is no longer officially available by the manufacturer. the 4th button on the mouse doesn't configure. the side gaming pad isn't comfortable for wow gaming. the arrow keys on the keyboard are located directly under the number pad(kinda inconvenient).THE HEADSET HURTS YOUR HEARS(not because of sound but because the plastic pinches your ears).

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy another one...spend a little more and get something that is still supported by its manufacturer

5 out of 5 eggsLoving it

Pros: Got this to use in World of Warcraft. I like how the movement controls are on the left side, as I am right handed and have the mouse in my right hand. The movement buttons are nice and big. Also like how the gaming section is angeled, making it more egro.

Cons: The number pad is a little hard to get use to, as everything is a row higher than usual. But this is not a huge issue for me. If I need to do a lot of typing I just plug my egro keyboard back in and use that. As I am usually on Vents or antoher in game chat program I do not ususally need to do much in game typing.

Other Thoughts: I was looking at the back lit unit, but for the price (got it as a Shell Shocker) I cannot complain. I had the Zboard Gaming Keyboard, but did not like how the movment and game keys were on the left side. Was very hard to use that and my mouse at the same time.

Now I am just hoping Ideazon comes out with a control set for Dragon Age.
