5 out of 5 eggsReally good keyboard!

Pros: Very good ergonomic shape. Great wrist rest. Keyboard elevation and wrist rest keep wrists at a flatter angle than standard keyboards. Very good key response -- positive click rather than mushy. Multimedia controls are very handy.

Cons: I only have one of these...

Other Thoughts: I've been using this keyboard for 3-4 years and it has been great. No problems with keys, I can type extremely fast, and my wrists never hurt. I may go home from work with a stress headache every night, but I don't have to worry about carpal tunnel syndrome with this keyboard!

3 out of 5 eggsOk...but don't use for daily work

Pros: Configuration! Same configuration as my old belkin ergonomic that I love...

Cons: Number pad just went out....

Other Thoughts: The belkin lasted for years...not months but I do use this all day at work. Now time to try another...wish belkin still made that one...no one makes a good ergonamic in this configuration... This one is laid out perfectly...but made cheaply.

3 out of 5 eggsClose to being really really good

Pros: Extremely quiet compared to the microsoft natural ergo. The split spacebar is great and avoids the sticking problem so many ergonomic keyboards have. Hotkeys are honestly better than the microsoft natural ergo

Cons: Quality control is pathetic. I own two of these keyboards, each of which 1-3 keys that almost get stuck or doent really give feedback when pressed.

Other Thoughts: If the key mechanisms were a little higher quality this thing would be perfect.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst keyboard ever purchased

Pros: It looked nice on newegg website

Cons: low quality workmanship... poor materials used... cheap feeling, keys fell off lifting it out of the box on 1 of the 2 we bought... the other was DOA... and the Enter keys were stuck in a permanent down position. Thank you newegg for being so good at refunds.

4 out of 5 eggsMuch better than Microsoft

Pros: Comfortable hand and arm position, about 1/10th as noisy as the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, lots of marks on the sides of the keys to clue you into hot keys you might not normally use, great value for the price

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I purchased the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 for work, where I input data for a website. While most of the keys were quiet, the space bar stuck every time I hit it. My coworkers ask that I replace it. I purchased the Adesso sight unseen. I guess because they split the space bar in half, that avoided the problem the Microsoft had. I like it so much I'm about to buy another one for home. I can't tell you how happy I am to have a keyboard that doesn't leave my forearms aching ever day when I leave work, and that is quiet. I use a Mac at work and all I had to do to configure the keyboard was push the "Z" key, and then the "/" key. This thing is tops.

1 out of 5 eggsKeyboard not functional after only 6 weeks

Pros: It has a solid feel and a good ergonomic design.

Cons: Here at 5 weeks of use it has become unstable and has MANY problems. Keys are sticking and repeating, key presses are not be recorded. I get random backspace events where characters I just pressed disappear. This behavior is all random and incredibly frustrating. It is all but useless for me right now.

5 out of 5 eggsFinally, a truly good ergo keyboard that's not Microsoft

Pros: I've had this keyboard just about a month now, and the more I use it, the more I like it. As noted in my "First Impressions" write-up, it's well constructed, with good key feel, and nice crisply molded and marked keys. Unlike the MS Natural 4000 I bought it as a replacement for, there has been no sign of accelerated wear on the key caps. It has so far proven to have no vices or unexpected behaviors whatsoever. There are no tilt adjustment legs, but the honest truth is it really doesn't need them; once you spend a week or so getting used to it, it's perfectly fine just as it is. The flat bottom also means it stays in place when being used in your lap.

Cons: The one tiny negative I have so far found is that my PCK-208B has a slight, faint squeak from the case, somewhere around the numeric keypad, if and only if you're using it on an uneven surface. On a flat surface, or with any significant level of background noise, you'll never notice it. Let's face it, any product which has no vices worse than an occasional almost-inaudible squeak, and that only under certain conditions, is a good one.

Other Thoughts: If you liked the MS Natural Keyboard Pro, you will like this keyboard. It is extremely comfortable to use, and operates smoothly and reliably. As an added bonus, I discovered today that it is highly spill-resistant; rather than having openings in the top of the shell, the PCK-208B's keys are placed in closed-bottom wells with almost no path into the interior of the keyboard. Spill cleanup is trivially easy - just pop off a few key caps, mop up the spilled liquid, and snap the keys back on. Adesso doesn't even market this as a spill-resistant keyboard, but they could if they wanted to, without having to change a thing.

I had a lot of initial hesitation about buying this keyboard because it's made in China. I needn't have worried. This is shaping up to be one of the best keyboards I've had in a long time. The only thing I can think of that would improve it would be having a few extra bucky-keys to use for hot-key bindings to favorite applications.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: None

Cons: DOA, but wasn't able to test until it was too late to RMA. This keyboard doesn't register with the OS that a USB device has been plugged in. Too bad for money wasted.
