2 out of 5 eggsOuch

Pros: Bright enough to be useful but not to bright that it will be blinding.

Smooth keys

Lovely blue color

Fast shipping

Cons: Very very small. as small as a laptop keyboard with a very odd layout.

1,2
q,w
a,s,
z,x Were all stuck together. Wasn't the keys themselves but something on the main board. I liked the style and size of it enough to give them another shot. sending it back for a replacement. Hope they don't fail twice.

Other Thoughts: Given it doesn't say ODD LAYOUT or EXTRA SLIM size anywhere on the page I wasn't expecting the odd layout or slim size. But it was a nice surprise.

Pros: awesome keyboard for general use like everyone said it has a little bit of a weird setup but it easy to get use too
its the best illuminated keyboard for the price..
4 eggs for the keyboard used mine and then sold it with a setup

Cons: but lower price its on another website for 23.95 with 6.25 shipping and i need another.. but would rather order from you with a gift card...
so i guess 1 eggs for new eggs extreme price of 34 dollars plus 10 dollars shipping

5 out of 5 eggsWOW

Pros: As far as keyboards go this one is as good as any...with a well illuminated keyboard.

Cons: I was under the impression that by the title that this was a standard keyboard, I wrongfully assumed it was standard size not standard 105 key, which I have doubts to. The keyboard is roughly the same size as a slim keyboard I have and that is where the similarities end. The keys on this keyboard are laid out in anything but a standard layout with they keys feeling crammed together.

Other Thoughts: One major plus in getting this keyboard was Newegg and the shipping. I ordered it to be delivered to Kentucky...the shipment came out of Wittier, CA and was here the NEXT day?! They label indicated Ground Shipping and yet it was here the next day....way to go Newegg...you rule!

1 out of 5 eggsLoved it

Pros: Compact; blue glow wasn't distracting with lights off; space between buttons is small; media buttons on top where convenient; Blue glow was even all through the keyboard.

Cons: Keys stopped responding altogether. The rows 3,E,D,C and left no longer work. Sometimes they do if you smack it a couple of times on the backside but now they just completely don't work(took good care of it before none functional state). Cleaned it and then took it apart still doesn't work.
Sleep key is right next to the power LED button for the keyboard; so I was constantly putting my computer to sleep trying to turn off/on the light.

Other Thoughts: You can pull out the button for the sleep and that fixes that con.
The middle area keys (home/end page up/down) are placed along the right side of the enter key. Then below by space bar is Insert and delete.
To get an idea on how compact it is, on a standard keyboard this one will end before the numpad.
Really loved this board 5 eggs if it still worked.

5 out of 5 eggsMini keyboard

Pros: Good feel, quiet and durable. Easily legible keytops even when it's not illuminated. Black on white does tend to stand out on the keytops. Characters haven't worn off and keys still function despite my spending virtually every waking minute using it for over a year.
Extra deskspace a real bonus.
Lighting is best in very low light conditions.
Right hand and left hand Control keys-yes!
Doesn't have that stupid fat reverse 'L' Enter key.

Cons: Small backspace key.
Function key that does absolutely nothing except make it harder to hit that stupid Windows key, which I'll admit, is a useful function.
Driver diskette(!) was blank.
A "Wake Up" key? What's up with that ? You shortened the backspace key but included this?
No USB hub-darn!

Other Thoughts: Let's get one thing straight-this is neither a Standard nor an 105-key keyboard. It's a mini-laptop keyboard that has a numeric keypad added to it. The "function" keys are the usual Windows communication and multimedia keys, not programmable function keys.
Why did I buy it? I wanted a narrower keyboard than the usual "standard" keyboard because when I use a mouse with the usual kind I end up moving my hand too far to the right when I use the mouse and that messes up my shoulder. If you have that problem then this will help.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lighting is aesthetically pleasing, keys are nice, almost laptop reminiscent. extra navigation and control buttons such as homepage, back, forward, mute, volume, and sleep mode are neat.
This keyboard works nicely If you can get used to the configuration of the keys.

Cons: Backspace button size is compromised, it now is the size of every other key. To the right of it (where my finger sometimes happens to land) is the home key, so if you are not used to the small keys, it can be troublesome until your fingers are used to the configuration. Delete button is underneath the period key. I am not a fan of this new delete button placement.
Alt keys and Shift keys are smaller than average, spacebar seems smaller as well, but then again my normal Dell keyboard has a large, possibly oversized one.

Other Thoughts: Nicely engineered. Good quality parts. The only issue I have with it is the placement of keys and the size of some keys (such as Backspace especially).
Time will tell if it will prove to be a worthwhile buy.
From my standpoint now, it is a decent keyboard altogether, but I'm sure you could get a better one if you wanted to pay extra.

5 out of 5 eggsA followup.

Pros: Owned this for six months now. Keys are not sticking. It's as bright as day one. I'm totally used to the keyboard layout now. Regular boards feel a bit weird at this point.

Cons: I have yet to find an electroluminescent mouse to go with it.

Other Thoughts: I'm the guy who's brother said "Your keyboard is AWESOME." It totally is. While the machine I built is my current trophy in terms of technical stuff, it just wouldn't be the same without this keyboard. The computer is beautiful - but this is the crown jewel in the entire computing setup I have. It brings the aesthetics together VERY nicely.

5 out of 5 eggs"Your keyboard is AWESOME."

Pros: The title is a quote from my little brother upon his first time seeing it lit up. It really is a thing of beauty - small and inconspicuous when the blue is turned off, but it will seize your attention the first time you turn it on in a dark room.

Quiet key action. Minor detail, but much appreciated.

Several miscellaneous buttons are available for several purposes. They've got navigation buttons for the browser (home, back, forward, search, etc etc etc etc) as well as media (volume, mute, etc). If there's one thing I've learned it's the value of an easily accessible mute button, especially when your speakers take a moment to fully turn off.

Come on, you know it's true.

Cons: Yes, the keys are kinda small. It takes some getting used to, but it's not that big a deal. Generally when I look for a keyboard, I look for long term utility first - I want something that will last a while without any of the keys getting stuck or not responding or anything. I don't look at things that are only a problem because I am set in my ways. Learn to adapt and you'll be fine with the keys, I promise.

It's not as bright as I had hoped... but then again, I was expecting this to emit a radiance that would make a deity take a step back. Still beautiful, though.

Other Thoughts: I cannot stress the aesthetic appeal of this keyboard enough. It looks good. It looks REAL good. Get this, a computer loaded with blue LED fans, maybe a mouse with some blue LED's on it somewhere... and bam. You've got a beautiful blue bombshell. I don't care what anyone says, keyboards are NOT that important for gaming. I did not look for a keyboard perfectly engineered to give me the edge to defeat my opponents - I looked for a keyboard that would grab people's attention, something that would look good.

I chose wisely.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat find

Pros: Looks. This keyboard is as slick as it gets, even if I just sits there lit up it looks good. They do have to kind of scrunch a lot of keys in there to make it so compact (Bksp is only one key and is hard to get used to.)
I exclusively use my computer at night and my whole case is in blue LED's so this was a must.

Cons: (depending on taste) Laptop-style keys. The kind that are very flat short. This may bother some users. Also I think they went a little overkill on compacting it (button placement).

Other Thoughts: May not be a hardcore gaming keyboard (even though thats what im using it for :) but the ascetic appeal is very much there. Makes your whole setup a little nicer.
Would be GREAT for where space maybe limited.
Also: The light on/off key is on the right hand-side of the board, this took me a while to find :)

I actually got a deal on this on another site for $16, not sure if it's still on though, you might want to look around.
