all the essentials!
battery life is fairly long
good wireless range

Cons: Battery low light has not worked since the day I got the keyboard. ATM i have owned the keyboard for over two years and after the first year it started cutting in and out arbitrarily. I took very good care of the keyboard and never dropped it or got food/drinks on it but it still started acting up and it just keeps getting worse.

Other Thoughts: My advise would be to spend the money for a better set. And if you can get a wired, not wireless. It's more reliable.

Pros: Easy to set up - practically plug in the usb dongle and it is ready to go. No software/drivers required for Windows 7.
Thin keyboard.
Easy to press keys, nice and flat kind of like laptop keys.
Comes with a USB extension cable if you don't have a direct line of site to USB dongle.

Cons: Mouse doesn't have a back button, not sure if it can be programmed with the scroll wheel.

Other Thoughts: Nice keyboard and mouse. I am happy with my purchase.

Pros: Ok let me start off by saying this product is not bad at all i dont know why everyone here is rating this product 3 to 1 "eggs"
1) First of i got this keyboard to upgrade my now ancient tan ps2 keyboard.
2) I love the black and grey color scheme.
3) it works right out of the box just plug in the usb and turn on the mouse and you good to go.
4) i use it for gaming as well

its still works after 2 week, shipping was great and fast
it comes with batteries.
This is a great product for its price

Cons: I did love this keyboard but... Over time using the mouse for gaming i did notices the left mouse button makes a od noise every time i click, doesnt really bother me at all.

Also the last issue that i had with this keyboard are sometime when i'm in the middle i did notice there would mouse lag spikes where i try to look down then up and left to left but that could be that my batteries are running low and try not to up struck the wireless signal.

Other Thoughts: Over all fast shipping, steeping up was easy should be easy for everyone else great price.
I dont know why people go on new-egg and by things for cheap and expect them to the best thing ever, you pay for what you get.

Pros: Pros are only possible if the item is presumed to work.

Cons: Keyboard doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: Piece of Junk. You'd think anybody can make a keyboard these days. How hard can it be? Has IOGear heard of QC.

Pros: Great unit while it worked. (only 2 weeks)

Cons: After 2 weeks the receiver completely died and is no longer recognized by my computer. New i7 Windows 7 computer did not recognize initially. Had to install drivers from IO Gear website. No drivers listed ffor this unit on the IO Gear website. Had to use drivers for GKM552r. Quickstart Guide states unit is Plug & Play and no software is required. Tried re-installing the drivers, new batteries etc. Nothing works ! Beware of this unit !

There are no Windows 7 drivers available for the GKM551R. The software for the GKM552R is not a driver, it is pairing software for the GKM552R only. Other Thoughts: Mouse wakes up on mouse click not mouse movement

Pros: Long range, long battery life and responsive mouse and keyboard.

Cons: After 6 months the keyboard began to malfunction. Pressing certain keys would activate others.

Pros: Love the keyboard and the feel of the mouse.... its a great combo but i probably got a defective mouse.

Cons: whenever i use the left button on the mouse.... it makes an annoying "squeak" it DRIVES ME NUTS! Cant return it cuz i threw the box away.
