2 out of 5 eggsKeystrokes cause strokes

Pros: Cheap
Good Range
Keyboard and Mouse automatically turn off to save batteries

Cons: As others have said, this keyboard tends to either drop strokes, or make double or triple strokes, even with fresh batteries.
The problems are exacerbated when processor and memory usage is medium-high.

My mouse started to die after about a year. The wheel barely works and when it does, it will scroll up once, then down twice, or some other craziness when I only scrolled up.

Other Thoughts: I got this to control a media PC hooked up to my TV, but It's really frustrating spending more time trying to fix the keystroke mishaps than actual typing. The keyboard and mouse both worked great out of the box, but these issues started soon after.

If I were to do it again, I would probably go with a nice Logitech of Razer...they both have better customer support anyway....or just buy a USB extension cord and use a wired keyboard and mouse.

My next wireless keyboard and mouse will not be a cheap one, and will not be a Rosewill.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Set

Pros: Slim keyboard and roller mouse work well at last 15 feet from the receiver. I use it in the living room. I have had it for 4 years and its still working like new. I liked it so much I bought another one and tried to buy another years later but I could find it. It was replaced by the 1000 model which isn't as good.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I like the slim keyboard. Nothing but keys and no extra, unused keyboard.

3 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: Was great when I got it brand new. Looks and feels nice. You can be pretty far back, maybe 10-15 ft and it registers well.

Cons: After 8 months of use, the mouse is starting to go bad. Seems like the bulb is starting to die even with brand new batteries. And everything what Dough mentioned.

Other Thoughts: I would spend a little more money and get something that would last longer. Great for the price though.

2 out of 5 eggsWish I had bought something more expensive

Pros: Was inexpensive. Batteries seem to last forever. Has continued to work after a year of use.

Cons: The biggest con is that unless you are approximately on target with the RF sensor on the computer, the keyboard will drop keystrokes or double/triple send them. You get messages that look like this: Here iss an exaample of me typing on this keyboad when it is not directly alignd.

Other Thoughts: In hindsight, I wish I had gone with a more expensive keyboard, one that manages packet delivery across RF better.

3 out of 5 eggsTwo years later...

Pros: Great speed and what not ...

Cons: The keyboard just stopped working after two years.

Other Thoughts: Worthwhile if you want something asap. Though really frustrating when it dies.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: I like it. It is not too big, batteries last pretty long if you don't pile stuff on it and remember to turn it off. One set lasted from March to August. range is good I use it on a HTPC I built for my TV.

Cons: Shiny parts attract dust

Other Thoughts: The mouse has a wide flat scroll wheel, and I like like it

1 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: When it worked it was a good small business combo.

Cons: The combo completely died without warning, windows recognizes the dongle and drivers are installed(plugged into different computer) but no response from keyboard or mouse.

Other Thoughts: Spend a little more money and stay away from ROSEWILL!!!! Had other ROSEWILL products that have failed within one year. Only purchased due to promo.

2 out of 5 eggsLarge enter key? These still exist?

Pros: I like Rosewill as a brand and trust the quality.

Cons: Haven't bought it and won't. I can't believe they still make keyboards with that infuriating large enter key. If you are looking at this as a possible gift for anyone with technical skills, stop. I guess I can't speak for other geeks, but I use my backspace key a LOT and having it out of place due to the large L shaped Enter key is a complete show stopper.
