They created the Rosewill RIKB-11001 with all the space-saving features, but without skimping on all the functions of the big boys. The full 104-key QWERTY keyboard features slim design with low profile keycap that not only lower its profile, but decrease response time.

Unforgotten, though, are 4 function keys that allow you to control your audio at your fingertips. This is a sleek, elegant keyboard that will be a complement to any system.

  • newegg Ergonomic, Ultra Slim Keyboard The Rosewill RIKB-11001 is tested for up to 10 million keystrokes. With ergonomic and notebook-styled flat key layout, every stroke is comfortable. The short travel distance reduces finger fatigue.
  • newegg Unparalleled Convenience The Rosewill RIKB-11001 is equipped with an USB interface for quick and easy connection to any USB enablbed desktop PC and notebook.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: I have been using this keyboard daily for work over 2 years now & it performs as well as the day it arrived. No doubt it is an incredible value!

Cons: It doesn't do my job for me

4 out of 5 eggsGreat inexpesive keyboard

Pros: This is a great budget keyboard. It has a good, crisp feel. The LEDs are bright and I had no compatibility issues in either Linux or Windows. As a bonus, it even works nicely on my iPad using the camera adapter's USB plug. (The iPad complains that it's not compatible, but it works fine.)

Cons: The placement of the three rows of keys above the arrow keys between the main keyboard and the numeric pad is non-standard. This takes some getting used to and has caused some typos due to my muscle memory wanting these keys to be one row higher.

Other Thoughts: This would be a 5-star keyboard if all of the keys were in the right place.

2 out of 5 eggsShoddy build quality or just dud?

Pros: Cheap. Lightweight. Usb. Pretty, sleek, not an eyesore. Fairly long cord.

Cons: Right keypad arrow sticks. Badly.

Other Thoughts: Delightful keyboard for a half month or so. I've had it stored on my tech bench for months, and finally broke it out to use when my newest batch of rackmount servers showed up. Imagine the frustration working on Dell Perc firmware setting up RAID and noticing that the arrow keys (which for those of you familiar with that particular card are about the only quick way to get ANYTHING done in the BIOS or on the RAID BIOS... ) and lo and behold, my arrow key sticks and makes it a pain in the you know what to readjust my entire typing habits just to accomodate that spare keyboard.

At least it was cheap. So cheap as to not even justify the return price. As is, I'm sticking to Logitech and Liteon for keyboards. The occasional Silitek (newegg had a fantastic deal on 'em awhile back) too, but that's it. Unless Rosewill can provide me a sample of these that will NOT fail within a few days of being out of the box... I won't buy another. Pity, the design is beautiful, sleek and after popping the key off to see if there was crud in there (too new for there to be any from my end, and I keep my gear pristine) I noticed its designed to try to keep crud out of the actual keyboard. Pity the key sticks.

Of course it could be a dud. 2 eggs for beautiful design, 3 eggs off for partial hardware failure so soon.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Flight Simulator Keyboard

Pros: My home flight simulator had a big bulky keyboard problem. I wanted to Velcro my big keyboard to the base of my Dell 30" monitor, but it required the monitor to be 2" farther away from my face. This of course, causes a reduced apparent screen size. Like all things, closer looks bigger. I use reading glasses to sharpen the focus.
The Rosewill RIKB-11001 X-Slim Keyboard is a full size USB keyboard mounted in he smallest conceivable package. It velcro's perfectly on the base of my Dell U3011 monitor and except for no internal key lighting is perfect for flight sim management.
My big, wireless keyboard continues to work at the same time so no convenience is lost. It's a real win-win combination.

Cons: Keyboard is not back lighted.

Other Thoughts: Superb value for $10.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard for the price

Pros: Very responsive, the second I pressed the standby button my old desktop went right to sleep.

Cons: Didn't really like how there wasn't an option to elevate it a little more or to have it straight.

5 out of 5 eggsPossibly the greatest keyboard I ever owned!

Pros: -Clicky Keys (Oh how I missed thee)
-Great layout
-Doesn't hurt my wrists as much as previous keyboards)
-Nice layout. It fits in my desk drawer yet did not lose numpad or merge the home/end/arrow/etc. buttons like other low profile keyboards.
-Its shinny :)

Cons: -The white Rosewill on my spacebar wore off - as well as the bottom of the N and M. I use this thing very aggressively (I would say around 20,000 keys per day on average) and so far it was only the space bar with N/M keys and only on 1 of 2 of these that I use on a daily basis. For the price this is very easy to fix with cheap $4 replacement stickers, or just buy a new keyboard!.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to go without a con on this one and it really is the perfect keyboard, but if the keys wear off, this keyboard may not be for the everyday hardcore typer.

2 out of 5 eggsNice and sleek, but poor quality

Pros: Nice keys, very slim design. Most of the keyboard works well...

Cons: Space bar stopped working within the first day of use. Gets stuck.

Other Thoughts: Not bad for $10, but the space bar has to work.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat feel, but stuck spacebar...

Pros: great feel to the keyboard. Very easy to type on.

Cons: Spacebar stopped working (stuck key) within a day of using it. Typed a blog post, and the spacebar died during that short post....

Other Thoughts: only $9
