Question 1

It says the wasd keys are rubber. I use ESDF, so can I simply put the orange rubber keys on these letters instead? I would think so, but wanted to ask. I don't care what letter it says it is, of course.

There is no reason why you couldn't do this. All of the keys on the board attach in the same way and the keys you mention are all the same size and shape.

What type of switches does this keyboard have?

I don't think it is specified anywhere. They keys have a very light, very clicky feel and sound.

Is the backspace key full-sized, or is it small like in the picture?

It's small sized like in the picture. Takes some getting used to bit still for the price it's a decent keyboard.

The title claims that this is mechanical, idk if it's true, but if it is, does it come with switches, or do i have to get my own?

It is mechanical... And....Despite the low cost of entry, it features a full set of mechanical keys, a numeric keypad, and optional rubberized WASD and arrow keys for gamers...Lift up those key caps, and you'll find Alps clone switches with a clicky, tactile response. In simpler terms, the RK-6000's keys produce an audible click and a palpable tactile bump when actuated.  They are mechanically similar to cherry mx blue switches but not as loud of a click.

Hows it the anti-ghosting feature on this keyboard?

I am playing StarCraft 2 and the anti-ghosting is working great. It's hard anyway to push that many keys at once. But I am going to save up and buy the Rosewill Apollo RK-9100xR. That keyboard looks sweet!

What cherry switches does this board uses?
Cherry Brown, Black, Blue or Red?

Is this plug and play?

I have strong reason to believe this keyboard is not plug and play. In fact, I couldn't get into my bios and narrowed it down to a problem with the keyboard (probably lack of plug and play, since all other keyboards I tried worked fine). I ended up buying another keyboard for that reason.

Are all 104 keys mechanical?  Or is it limited to just select keys (such as wasd and arrow keys)?

Question 9

Does the keyboard allow for executing macros at various speeds? I need to be able to execute them slowly for some applications.

I cannot remember whether or not it did (I've switched keyboards since then), however, I do remember the macros having very little customization, so I would say no.

If you're interested in controlling your macros, I would suggest getting another program to do it for you or to look into a macro-oriented scripting language like AutoIt or AutoHotKey, and then you can get whatever keyboard you want.

This keyboard is good for the price because it keeps things simple, so it really comes down to where your priorities lie.

Is this keyboard fully compatible with Linux, namely: do all key combinations work on this keyboard in X11? Such as: Crtl+Alt+Fn and such? Does ScrollLock properly function in X11?

I assume that would be more of a software based function. When I have used this keyboard it did recognize it in linux, and all of my keys work so I would assume so.
