2 out of 5 eggsWas great for about a month

Pros: Great looking keyboard is very easy to use.

Cons: After about 1 month of use the LED lights started going out all over the keyboard. I now have about 4 keys that light up anymore and it makes it difficult to game in low light settings. For the price I paid for this thing I expected much more out of it.

2 out of 5 eggsBad Leds

Pros: Nice mechanical keys. Feels sturdy.

Cons: Purchased August 2013. Sent the first one back months later due to dead LEDs ($20 for return shipping.) I know have 6 dead LEDs and an out of warranty K70. Looking for new keyboard vendor that pays return shipping if they even exist for next purchase.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Great

Pros: Good keyboard feel, liked the styling and the media controls.

Cons: LEDs started going out with 6 months. After seven months I had 29 LEDs MIA. Final death: I spilled a very small amount of beer on it and it went haywire before shutting down completely; no response from any of the keys.

Other Thoughts: The fact that it needs two USB ports isn't great, but livable. Really wish this had worked out better,

5 out of 5 eggsFavorite keyboard I've owned

Pros: Great feel, replaceable textured keys, solid. Makes a satisfying sound with each key press, and I'm pretty sure it's sturdy enough to use as a weapon.

Cons: A little pricey for where it's at, but still worth it in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: The price is up there, so avoid this unless keyboards are really important to you. But if you decide you want to spend the cash on what's basically a luxury keyboard, this is a pretty solid choice.

2 out of 5 eggsAwesome Keys Terrible Lights

Pros: Feels and looks to be a high quality keyboard.

Cons: LEDs started dying after 4 month from the time of purchase. it all started with 1 dead LED then after that they added up. I now have about 12 dead LEDs. I had to pay about $33 for shipping to have it replaced (RMA) and who knows how long after the replaced one it will all happen again!?

Other Thoughts: If you are considering buying a mechanical keyboard with LED. you should reconsider your options, else expect quick death of LEDs from Corsair Keyboards.

3 out of 5 eggsConstant LED Failure

Pros: Typing is great

Cons: Once one LED key goes out, others follow.

Other Thoughts: I've had the keyboard for close to a year and typing on this thing is pretty enjoyable. The build quality is top-notch and it looks pretty, however the LEDs failing is awful. Once one key goes out, others follow quickly. Obviously I'm not the only one who's experienced this. I have a friend who had his replaced three times already.

3 out of 5 eggsLED failure guaranteed.

Pros: Aside from the LED's this is hands down the best keyboard I have ever owned. I love the feel of they keys, the fit and finish of the keyboard, the overall build quality just feels exceptional. The media keys and volume roller are also very nice.

Cons: The LED's WILL FAIL. Not a question of if, it's a question of when. Look up other reviews or visit corsair's forums if you don't believe me. I have 12 LED's out right now and expect the rest to go eventually. This sucks because I really liked the lighting on this keyboard. Sometimes the keys think they are stuck down too and will repeat the key until you press it again, this I'm not really worried about.

Other Thoughts: I liked my first keyboard so much I bought a second one for work. That one is newer and has yet to lose an LED but I'm confident it is only a matter of time.

If a Corsair rep is reading this KNOW THIS:

I refuse to pay shipping for the RMA process so don't even bother unless you can guarantee I won't pay a dime. $40+ for shipping is insane when it is clearly a known manufacturing defect that Corsair has not even fixed yet. I also want proof that the issue has been resolved before I ever buy another Corsair product.
