5 out of 5 eggsAwesome keyboard.

Pros: All around awesome! The back light on the keyboard is great for gaming at night and the raised keys feel good on the fingers. The extra keys for gaming is a great addition to this keyboard.

Cons: The keys are slightly smaller then I expected, but overall i can adjust to it.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap, works

Pros: - Backlit keyboard
- No driver issues

Cons: - Didn't fix my ghosting problems (it's not PS/2) which you think they could have added it for a few bucks and that would be it.

Other Thoughts: Okay so if you have trouble with ghosting when playing something like Battlefield or Red Orchestra, or really any other game, this keyboard won't help.

4 out of 5 eggsBought it when it was $250

Pros: - Small form factor
- Gets benefits from both SSD and HDD in one except (see cons)

Cons: - Price/Performance is not good. It'd be cheaper to a faster SSDs and 2 x 1TB HDD in RAID for the same money that I paid for when it was on sale!
- Performance is also crippled because both are running off the same SATA, meaning if you have anything less than 6.0 gb/s SATA ports, you will have wasted your money.

Other Thoughts: This could work better in PCI Express, but it would als be more expensive so it's not worth the money unless you really don't have the room.

1 out of 5 eggsUseless

Pros: Nothing really

Cons: - Lots of ghosting, e.g. you can't run (w) and change weapon (3) at the same time
- Clumsy Look: Keyboard looks like someone forgot the add some top cover
- Extra macro column always throws my left hand off finding the right alignment
- LEDs shine in an ugly redish light
- Typing feels bad
- Too expsenive for these cons

1 out of 5 eggsDefective on arrival.

Pros: The LED backlighting looks good. The action on the keyboard is fairly satisfying for not being mchanical. The USB cable is of ample length, and the board sits well on a desk surface.

Cons: The keyboard ghosts as badly as my heavily used and reused dell keyboard (orignally from an OEM machine 12 years ago), and it frequently disrupts typing by losing track of modifier keys. For example, typing the word pool while holding onto the shift key gives "PoOL" This can be avoided by typing the letters very slowly or pressing the shift key over again. I type a fairly average 60wpm, so it isn't outside of the realm of normal use. I hope that I can just have the board replaced and it will solve the problem.

Other Thoughts: The accelerator keys don't map properly in linux. It's easy enough to just change them in your X settings its just mildly inconvenient the first time.

4 out of 5 eggsNIce keyboard

Pros: Great look and finish. Keys feel strong and sturdy. Led brightness level is changeable and can be turned off completely. One touch media keys are very convenient.

Cons: Led does not have 100% coverage. Few of the keys (i.e., Tab, Caps Lock, Shift, Delete) are not completely lit. Occasionally, pressing a key is not recognized or there is a slight (ms) lag. Need to figure out if this is the board or perhaps USB issue.

Other Thoughts: Had the keyboard for few days, so far I really like the look and feel of it.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: Loving the finish and everything about the keyboard. Its relatively high enough without the support stands in the back, but adds the umph when used. I also like the fact that the lights are very bright when my lights are closed, making it easier for location especially when playing games.

Cons: None so far, and I don't expect to find any!

Other Thoughts: They could have had this in a white or blue LED backlight if you think about it. I don't mind, but the choice for variety would make this overall fantastic gaming board well received!

Pros: hey when every one goes to sleep and you half way want to respect some random family member that is trying to sleep turn the light off and turn on the led light keyboard this thing has saved my eyes and my frustration typing in the dark

Cons: so far none that i can see haven't any need for the macro buttons but i assume there good

Other Thoughts: if you want to respect others then this ones great if not the dont buy it and leave the lights on you heartless schlubb

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: great documentation.

great size for me.

worked out of box, no problems. haven't used the config software much yet, but there are plenty of options.

based on my early opinion, corsair took some time to make sure they got this one right; imo, it worked. i love it!

Cons: none atm.

Other Thoughts: software for the k30 @ corsair.com/downloads

i'm using the k30 with the m65 mouse. great combo for me.

this was a great cost-effective option for me.
