Power Within Reach
Macro keys are useful but only if they’re easily accessible. The Mech4 gaming keyboard was design with that in mind. The modular D-Pad can be adjusted to perfectly complement your hands natural gaming position. Stop wasting time reaching for Macro keys all the way across the keyboard!

Improve Your Game
The simplistic design approach improves your speed and accuracy by keeping just 5 Macro keys to the immediate left and 6 additional ones (D-Pad) directly above your hand -- all at your fingertips. Too many Macro keys lumped up together in the same place or split to all corners of the keyboard will only bring additional confusion and stress!

Unrestricted Modular Customization
Attach the Numeric Keypad on the left-wing of the Mech4 and instantly add 17 additional Macro keys to your arsenal. Attach it to the right-wing and use it as a standard numeric keypad or leave it detached to make more room for your mice. Virtually all keys across the Mech4 are user programmable!

Built for War
This ultra-durable keyboard is designed for heavy combat. The Cherry mechanical switch extends its lifespan to 50 million keystrokes. In addition, this keyboard is designed to be water resistant, featuring special seals and drainage gutters. Spilling your drink on your keyboard is no longer an excuse for losing!

  • newegg Mechanical Keys The Cherry Black mechanical switch is widely believed to provide the best gaming experience. Featuring a linear design ideal for rapid pressing of keys and the right stiffness to help prevent accidental key presses.
  • newegg Fully Programmable Keys The included Software allows for full customization of the entire keyboard and dedicated Macro-keys.
  • newegg Modular Design The numeric keypad can be attached to either side of the keyboard or remain detached. The included Macro Keypad module is the first of many accessories that will take advantage of the keyboard’s rail system.
  • newegg Macro D-Pad The add-on Macro D-Pad expansion allows for 6 additional programmable keys. The expansion module rail enables custom positioning by sliding the D-Pad left or right.
  • newegg Anti-Ghost The anti-ghost feature ensures multiple commonly pressed keys register when pressed simultaneously.
  • newegg More Features The Mech4 is engineered to remain functional even if accidentally exposed to liquid. Do not flip or shake the keyboard and the liquid will properly drain itself. Plus, it has a win on/off key which allows you to disable the Windows key to prevent accidental pressing of the key during game play, a volume knob for intuitive control of the volume of your PC and two USB expansion ports for convenient connection of USB enabled devices. The braided cables & gold-plated USB connector enhance durability and conductivity. On top of that, the Mech4 can create and save as many profiles as you like for maximum key customization.

1 out of 5 eggsAZIO Levetron Mech4 Keyboard

Pros: -Good looks
-Separate numeric keypad
-Ability to turn off Windows key (not tested)
-LED Light accents nice
-Keyboard feel good (have had better)

Cons: -Forward slash with question mark key not working!!!
-Backspace is too small to what I'm used to
-Did I mention one key is not working (question mark, question mark, question mark)

Other Thoughts: The keyboard is nice and went with my computer theme (kinda); had not tested because I was in Far East away and so I built my PC in the last month or I had no idea which parts would far this is the only problem I've had...(crossing fingers)...

One egg for product because non-working keys in a KEYBOARD is highly unacceptable!

4 out of 5 eggsBusted Key, Great support

Pros: Great keyboard, very smooth. THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT. They shipped me a new, upgraded replacement keyboard as soon as humanly possible and got back to me within the same day every time the ball was in their court. I can't be happier.

Cons: My "U" key would either double print or ghost half the time.

Other Thoughts: I haven't found many reports of this happening, and they were so ready to make things right that im not even mad.

5 out of 5 eggsUnbeatable

Pros: Customer Service
Water Resistance
Modular activity
quality components

Cons: heavy

Other Thoughts: I can't stress how much I am enjoying this keyboard.
I had a question regarding the keyboard, i called azio someone picked up the phone right away and was glad to assist. Really hard to find such great support nowadays

The item has great quality, its tough i know it won't break and last me a long time for sure. The cherry black keys are different, its really well spaced, im looking forward to their new one coming out soon.

The modular activity is really unique because it allows you to
-take out the number pad
- move the number pad from left to right
- move the number pad as a pad for other people to type in a phone number or ID at local stores

Concluding this keyboard is the best, ive used a blackwidow ultimate and g15 and this is clearly the best keyboard currently out their.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard!

Pros: Lifetime Warranty, Water resistance, are the main factors that separate this mechanical keyboard from any other. I spoke to Azio and apparently MX BLUE, BROWN, RED, Versions are in the making.

Cons: The keys started to wear a bit. But it's all good. They are sending me replacement keys free of charge!

Other Thoughts: You can't beat Azio customer service for keyboards. Everyone else dumps you after 1 year. Azio--->7 years.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect in every way

Pros: Cherry Black MX switches are perfect for both gaming and typing for me. If anything they are bit too light, however 99% of people find them a bit hard.

Looks great in my opinion, that is I think a love it or hate it thing with the Mech4.

Macro software is very easy, and very functional.

Modularity of the keypad and macro pad are awesome.

Volume wheel rocks.

Cons: not backlit

if it was backlit blue

Other Thoughts: <3 newegg for rapid delivery

4 out of 5 eggsLevetron mech4

Pros: All the items on this keyboard work. The keys are a soft but responsive feel. The separate keypad for calculations is fantastic. I am very proud of this keyboard and it works.

Cons: Not the first keyboard from the company. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: This keyboard was "won" on FB. After attempting to fix the unit. I called telling them what I had done to the unit and found that the problem with the keyboard was beyond my capabilities of fixing it. I made sure that the keyboard was still having the same problem and packaged it and sent it back to the company. I was treated very well by Azio and can only speak highly of their service.

5 out of 5 eggsUgly in a Good Way

Pros: Built like a tank - this thing is heavy and solid all around.

Cherry Black switches everywhere but the six-key macro pad.

Useful macro keys on an accessory pad that's adjustable for position and to the left of the main keybed. NumPad can be swapped to either side of the main typing area, yet you can still elevate the back of the keyboard, unlike the MS Sidewinder x6, which also has this feature.

Fully programmable through the included/available software.

Cons: It's sort of ugly, with a clunky faux-industrial appearance and lots of garish decorations.

Other Thoughts: I received this keyboard as a gift from someone that knows me very well, and while it's about as far from fashionable as you can get, it's functionality and build quality are tough to match. Cherry Blacks for accuracy and long life combine with a usefully quirky design and full programmability to make for a gamer's ideal weapon of mass destruction.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!!!

Pros: -FULLY PROGRAMMABLE. Just then I couldn't do caps lock because I forgot I replaced it with "a" lol.

-Looks amazing. Will go great with the RAT 7 I plan to pick up.

-Very versatile and adjustable. You can run the NumPad separate or on either side, just remember there's two locks to depress when removing so you don't break it trying. And the "D" macros will move along the top to wherever you need them.

Cons: -it's huge! I had to run on it on top of my desk instead of in the tray because it and the mouse together wouldn't fit. No biggie as I keep a smaller keyboard and mouse there now to plug into the laptop that rests next to my desktop.

-macro keys don't work @ Win7 login, but I think that's a Windows thing.

-small backspace key, though it's not really a con, since I just reprogrammed the slash key to be a backspace.

Other Thoughts: At first I was having constant issues and having to uninstall/reinstall, unplug and plug in the keyboard constantly to get the drivers and macro profiles to work. This is on my brand new system and it turned out that the overclocking utility I had was messing with my SSD. I ditched the utility and since then have had no issues with this keyboard whatsoever.

I also wish it had more LEDs, but obviously if it was that big of deal I could've got a keyboard with more of them.
