5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Size. Price. Rotation. Clarity. I love everything about this monitor.

Cons: Makes my 17" Dell look like garbage.

Other Thoughts: I'm happy I went with the 20" over the 22". I think that going with the 22" would've just been overkill for my setup.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bad Pixel Policy

Pros: The display had two bad pixels on it when it arrived. I'm a stickler for perfection, and with most companies, I'd be stuck with it. Not with Samsung, though. Like Apple, Samsung has a zero bad pixel policy within the first two weeks (15 days) of purchase. So, I started a free cross shipping RMA with Samsung, got my new display (which was upgraded for free to the 2253LW, bonus!) and a perfect screen. Worth the $20 extra I paid over the ACER? You bet.

Cons: n/a

5 out of 5 eggsDecent monitor :/

Pros: It's what you are paying for, not the best monitor in the world, however for the price you can't go wrong. No dead pxls, looks nice, its bright, quick response time, and its easy to use.

Cons: It gets warm after a few hours and really hot after prolonged use, however this is no big deal. Also, it does not adjust height or tilt :/ this is not a big deal for me however as it is where I would have set it anyway, however this could be a problem for some people.

Other Thoughts: Like one of the reviews before me, I also upgraded from a 17" CRT and it is quite a bit nicer. Also, Photoshop hates this monitor, its fixable but also a hassle the true white is true cream in photoshop =) other than that beautiful colors.

5 out of 5 eggsSAMSUNG 2053BW High-gloss Black 20" 5ms (2ms GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor

Pros: Best monitor that I have ever owned!

This is a quality monitor with top notch styling. I like the black, chrome, and the blue LED that matches the others on my computer. Like most LCDs, it is really bright! I had to turn the brightness down to ~50% to suit my tastes. Came with a DVI cable. Plenty of options in the OSD menu. I also like the hidden buttons along the bottom.

Cons: No major cons yet.

The blue power LED will blink when the monitor is in standby mode, this can be a little annoying if it is in your bedroom. So I turn the monitor off whenever I shut my computer down for the night, no big deal.

Gets a little warm from use but that is normal and to be expected.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb Imagery

Pros: Vivid colors, bright display, and auto adjust sets up your screen for you when you turn it on. Can be either analog or digital inputs.
Simple, stable, sleek.
Great, wide viewing angles.

Cons: No height adjustment, bezel at bottom of screen can be wiggled a bit.
I'm unsure of how to do the rebate, as newegg printed a small invoice looking sticker on the side of the box.. Which I'm thinking needs to be photocopied off. But we'll see how that goes.

Other Thoughts: I am very happy with it! Have not gotten to try it out much, as my old motherboard finally sold the farm.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, except for the verticle

Pros: Bright - clear - sharp image, displays colors the way they're meant to be displayed, looks good in both standard & widescreen, plenty of customizable settings, sleek & stylish, no image ghosting.

Cons: Terrible vertical viewing angle. You seriously can't look at the screen from any angle, even dead center, without the top being darker than the bottom. Even the slightest change in the vertical viewing angle noticeably changes the washed-out brightness level.

Other Thoughts: Other than the joke of a vertical viewing angle, which is something that's going to catch my eye every so often & bug me (I'm picky), this is a great monitor. I upgraded from a 17" CRT and this is a massive step up - everything looks better.

5 out of 5 eggssoooooo nice~~

Pros: it is fits on me. i am using notebook for everything. but i have problem with small screen and low resolution. this monitor is good for extension purpose. It also has good resolution. And i can easily arrange preference~

Cons: no cons at all. except it is black bright out frame so we can easily see dust on that. that's it.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: I have to admit that this is my first LCD computer monitor that I have bought, but I absolutely love it. It has DVI cables which boost the great picture quality. When looking to purchase a monitor, I looked at several places. I found a 19" Samsung 2053W monitor at the mall for $50 more than newegg.com's price. I immediately bought it from newegg and have not been disappointed.

Cons: I have none as of yet.

Other Thoughts: I love newegg. I built my first computer for a lot cheaper than I thought, and am in the process of building one for my brother.
