4 out of 5 eggsStill alive and kicking, purchased 8/7/2009.

Pros: - Works as good as it did over 6 years ago (purchased new on Newegg)
- I have moved all over the U.S. and it has held up during the moves.
- Used it mostly for Xbox 360 gaming and movies but also came in useful as a computer monitor even though it wasn't 1080p.
- Headphone output for plugging into better speakers.

Cons: - Never worked great for HD broadcast TV signals with a direct coaxial connection. Connection would go pixelated and sound would mess up from time to time. This was definitely the TV and not the home because it did it in 4 different states.
- No red, white, and yellow RCA connection for older devices.
- Not great for its sound, like all HDTV's (you can't fit a great speaker in that small of a space).

4 out of 5 eggsWas Worth It.

Pros: -Bright
-Nice Size
-Reasonable Viewing Angle
-Solid Design
-HD Tuner works with cable
-Easily doubles as a smaller HDTV

Cons: -The power button is a sensor, not a physical button. Takes a touch or two sometimes in order to register.
-The resolution is low compared to more modern LCDs.
-No Mounting
-Limited Adjustments
-Broadcast tuner is poor, picks up very few channels
-Need special equipment to use the cable hookup

Other Thoughts: No longer sold, but I liked it enough to still write a review. Overall a good monitor. I bought this for my girlfriend who does a lot of photo editing, and she loves it.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible customer service

Pros: I've owned over 8 Samsung LCD's, the quality was fine, but I will not buy another one after the email I just got from Samsung support.

Cons: Samsung just informed me that any missing parts beyond 30 days have to be paid for to be received. To me, that is the WORST customer service policy in history.

I will never buy another Samsung display again, and Samsung: you should be ashamed of yourself, expecting people to pay more for something that you failed to include in the first place.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Monitor with minor flaws

Pros: I've been using this monitor regularly for 2 months now. The monitor has some amazing features. It has a "super array" of connections. Mine arrived with zero dead pixels and the screen quality is great. As most know, getting a balance between LCD TV quality picture and LCD computer monitor quality picture is a difficult task. Samsung did a remarkable job here and I switch between the two seamlessly keeping the quality on both ends. The built-in TV tuner is great and you save lots of money with just that alone.

The red light on the bottom of the screen showing power can be turned off in options.

Cons: I use the monitor primarily for gaming (but also use it as a hybrid for TV) and my biggest complaint so far and why this did not get 5 stars is the sound problems. Note that I use the HDMI connection and have not tested other connections - If I'm in computer monitor mode and walk away for a while the monitor shifts into some sort of offline screen saver mode. When I return to move the mouse and get everything back about 50% of the time I lose the sound completely. At this point I need to reboot the computer - turning the monitor on and off does not help return the sound. Another issue is the headphone port on the side of the monitor. Hey, it is great, but there's no microphone jack - so my headphone with mic doesn't work - it needs a mic jack near the headphone jack. So keep that in mind if you are a gamer or use skype. (Possible workaround might be disabling monitor sound driver) The stand is wobbly - but only if you bump or shake your desk. It won't fall down, just wobbles.

Other Thoughts: I have not had any major issues and despite the problems with the sound I still recommend this monitor - it is that good, especially for the price. There's also an HDMI port on the side of the monitor - in fact there are ports everywhere and it is quite refreshing.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: arrived-no dead pixels; good clear, bright pictures; good for use as tv or pc monitor (i use it as both) good for gaming also my fav. is forces unleashed (i know not the best out there) and at max resolution there is no tearing or distortion; has HDMI and DVI as well as analog inputs

Cons: there is some major bleeding around the edges of the screen if you are watching a letterbox movie. weak stand. power button takes some getting use to - these are not enough to knock any eggs off

Other Thoughts: for the price and size, it cannot be beat, got mine when my laptop died (had a tv card and was the only tv signal we got in the house) and needed something to watch news and traffic - was a much cheaper compromise than a new laptop or repairing the one i have. as stated in other reviews the stand is weak but i don't dance on my desk so it doesn't bother me. got it here on the egg on sale for 189 shipped. hay people look at what you are getting for the price and then match that with competitors in the same price range...this is a winner hands down!

5 out of 5 eggsToC T220HD

Pros: - Samsung quality
- 5ms response time
- TV tuner
- built-in speakers
- attractive ToC bezel
- 2 HDMI ports

Cons: - No PIP
- 5ms response time
- ToC bezel attracts dust
- 1 dead pixel lower right of screen.

Other Thoughts: Picked this up during a Newegg e-blast for $200 with free shipping. This monitor is beautiful, and the TV tuner and speakers are just icing on an already awesome deal. The 5ms response time, lack of PIP, and dead pixel werent enough for me to knock any stars off due to the value of the deal. Ordered Saturday morning, received Tuesday in Samsung box. Guessing drop shipped. Thanks again Newegg!

1 out of 5 eggsTook 1 day to completly die

Pros: It looked great, the sound was ok and an overall good monitor except for one major issue

Cons: IT DIED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS! I used it for about a day, then i turn it on and leave my house for an hour. When i get back to turn it on the screen has black lines everywhere, its all fuzzy and i cant even read the menu to try and fix it. The colors are completely destorted and it is now totally worthless.

Other Thoughts: I just hope i can get a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsA nice HDTV at a great price

Pros: Excellent picture, well thought out remote control button layout, very easy set up. All around a great HDTV. Just as described in the specifications list. I bought this primarily for use as a 22" PC monitor with Hidef resolution and it is performing flawlessly wih DVI-D connection. All cabes excpet HDMI included with unit. Very well packaged.

Cons: Nothing really. All of the other reviews about the speaker quality seem accurate, so if this is high on your expection list you may want to consider options.

Other Thoughts: I wish I bought another one at this price and quality level. Fast newegg shipping, as usual........Thanks.
