Works Well
- Pros: The picture is crystal clear. I am upgrading from a 17" flat screen CRT. The CRT did its job and I figured I would treat myself to an upgrade. I do not see any dead pixels within the screen. I do play some first-person shooter games that display very well and do not portray a shadowing or ghosting effect. I'm quite pleased.
- Cons: Many Cons here are talking about the stand. I personally do not find the stand to be all that fragile or flexible. I do not bodyslam items/people on my desk so maybe this is why I'm not noticing the common problem. With my normal computing behavior, gaming or surfing the Internet, I do not find anything wrong with the stand.
- Other Thoughts: As of this moment, I'm very pleased.
- Pros: This is probably a very good monitor.
- Cons: However, it's intended purpose was an external monitor for a Gateway tablet lap top and the two were not compatible in screen resolution. To achieve full screen on the monitor made the display difficult to read.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg's customer service was outstanding in dealing with this problem!
