5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice on a 5670, sharp and clear image. Having lost my last lg monitor on account of power supply capacitors, good to see the brick unit separate from the actual monitor.

Cons: Strange scaling oddities, Easyset package not funtioning

Other Thoughts: The CatalystCC> My Digital Flat Panels> Scaling Options > Slide to 0 worked a treat. I spent over an hour working on this, finally found the solution here. Make sure the scaling option in the monitor is set to "off" as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product - Found fix for HDMI scaling

Pros: perfect

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: To fix the HDMI scaling issue, go to the catalyst control center. Go to My Digital Flat-Panels, then Scaling options, and then slide the bar to 0%. There you go. If you have a Nvidia card, I'm sorry but try to look in your "Nvidia Catalyst Control Center" or whatever it is called.

4 out of 5 eggsI don't see it....

Pros: Very thin...very light...good for a laptop docking to it.

Cons: I don't really have cons except that it has a special power cord not like LCD's where you can just swap out a power cord with another monitor. The power cord on the LED is like a laptop power cord. Not really a big deal just kind of annoying when you trying to replace another monitor's power cord and it all tangled up in the old systems web of wires.

Other Thoughts: Before I bash the LED picture...this might be because I was using a 1GB 128bit video card to view the screen, but I get better pictures and crisper pictures off of an Acer 50000:1 LCD than I do with this LED...I don't see a reason to pay all the extra money for an LED monitor possibly a TV but not a Monitor.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Multiple Inputs

Cons: Poor image quality even with my HD5750 Graphics Card. HDMI Output will not scale properly. Text looks awesome and is annoying to read anything on it.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing picture

Pros: This monitor has amazing clarity and color. The full 1080P resolution looks great. I have it hooked up to my Mac mini and my PC, no problems with either. Touch controls are both sleek and responsive.

Cons: Be careful about versions. The one I have, E2250T, does NOT have HDMI.

Other Thoughts: Got mine on sale from a big blue box retailer. Not sure what other users' complaints about the text is about, it's super clear on both my Mac and PC.

5 out of 5 eggsI've owned many monitors..

Pros: I like the contrast, the brightness and just about everything about this monitor. I don't have a problem with the text. You also have to set the color to what you like. Different companies ship with different settings, but it is all adjustable.

Cons: I tried using the HDMI cable from my PC to this monitor and no go. The Image wasn't properly scaled so everything looked blurry. I'm using a Radeon 5870. I switched to DVI and everything is perfect.

Other Thoughts: I guess if you want to buy this monitor for its HDMI connection think again, step through the reviews and try to see if somebody else found a work around.(I'm running it through plug and play, I don't have any software installed)

3 out of 5 eggsgood, not great

Pros: games, movies, etc look great....

Cons: text does not read well at all. I spent almost an hour tweaking the LG configurations as well as the "calibrate display" function on Windows 7. While I did get some improvement, its no where near as good as my lower quality, less expensive viewsonic

Other Thoughts: never been displeased with a viewsonic....shoulda stayed with them!!!

3 out of 5 eggsOver Rated LED

Pros: Cool Looking, Touch Controls , Light & Thin, All 3 choices of Input.
Picture is nice and bright, except... (see cons)

Cons: Picture is semi-blurry, text is NOT as easy to read as older Acer LCD, and does not match rated specs.
Radeon HD4200 Graphics and picture looks MUCH worse than my 2 year old ACER LCD.
In HDMI mode, half the adjustments DO NOT WORK, called tech support and they tell me that is the way it is. You have to use analog to get all available picture adjustments... What a Crock !! Why have HDMI if you can barely adjust the picture ? The preset adjustments you can use are either very grey or overly bright.
Had to use the overscaling to get picture full size (tech support did not even have a clue what i was talking about... LOL) I found out about the overscaling issue by other NEWEGG Feedback on the ASUS Models.. Thanks for the tips..

Other Thoughts: The 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio is a JOKE for a rating and is VERY misleading. My 2 year old ACER has a 30,000:1 ratio and looks better in most every way. Very upset about the lack of adjustment controls listed in Cons.
I will be returning this unit tomorrow for sure.

5 out of 5 eggsOne Word! Awesome!

Pros: This screen is above and beyond what I was looking for. The touch panel menus is a plus. Very bright and vibrant colors. Fits perfectly on my desk. No big clunky wires to deal with. The back panel ports are nicely placed. Even has earphone out for hdmi connections. Very thin.

Cons: Not really a con but maybe a little to lite. If typing vigorously it will shake a little.

Other Thoughts: Waited a long time before purchasing this, finally went on sale. Got it for $214.00 + free shipping. Couldn't resist.
