- Pros: decent price, nice black levels and viewing angles for a TN panel
- Cons: The one I have is not an IPS or MVA panel, as the specs and published reviews would have you believe. It's a decent TN panel, not a high-end monitor at a shockingly low price.

Best Display I've owned
- Pros: Absolutely fantastic looking display. So bright that accuracy for photos really requires you to turn it down a little bit. I've never noticed ghosting with any games I've played, all at 1680x1050 if the option is available(hundreds of games, I'm a tester). The clarity and dotpitch are amazing. The gloss screen is the best I've ever used, it really looks wet and alive. The stand is very heavy and sturdy, make sure your desk can handle a heavy monitor. Heck, even the speakers do their job when I take it to LAN's, they sound great for built-ins.
- Cons: I got mine when it came out in 2006 from newegg for a way higher price than today. Really not a con, in fact it's great that the price has dropped so much. I would like to get another one now that they aren't $549/each.
- Other Thoughts: After all of this time using it, I'm extremely satisfied. I've never had a single problem with it. I have two dead pixels, one at the very bottom of the screen and one at the very top. You have to LOOK for them to even see them. I haven't been able to figure out how to completely detach the stand, just the base, but I'd like to get it VESA mounted one day when I pick up a second one. They have the 22" version of this now, the Acer F-22. The styling on it is much more minimal which can be nice, but it is much less impacting than the F-20. The screen looks fantastic but the dot pitch on the F-22 isn't quite as sharp as this one due to the extra 2". The F-22 is a great monitor, the F-20 is a work of art. Don't debate it, just buy it.
