The 160-degree viewing angle lets you show your whole workgroup what you're up to (if you want to . . .). Once again, Acer has produced a spectacular monitor at a great value! With all of this it’s easy to think of it in terms of the overpriced high-end monitors . . . but don't bother. Give Acer a try, you'll be more than pleased!

If you read 1 review, read this one.
- Pros: This 20" LCD has the same resolution as most 22" LCDs, which means the pixels are smaller and therefore you get a clearer picture.
Everything about this monitor is perfect so far. I bought this because the pricepoint is basically the same as most 19" LCDs with lesser resolutions.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: The base was a little tough to install because it's a very snug fit. I held the monitor upside down in my lap and monkeyed with the base, and eventually I got it to securely fasten.
I installed NVIDIA's newest drivers (for my graphics card), plugged the new monitor in, and set the resolution using NVIDIA's new taskbar icon. I didn't have to download any weirdo drivers from Acer.
When I first turned the LCD on and booted up my computer, there was a noticeable high pitch humming coming from the monitor, but it went away after a few minutes.
Note: When you buy an LCD, you always run the risk of getting a dead pixel or two. This rarely happens with LCD's from excellent companies like Acer. Luckily, I have no dead pixels, but just beware, there's nothing you can do about 1 or 2 dead pixels if you get them.
Very nice monitor for price
- Pros: No dead pixels! This is rare quality in LCD technology.. usually only high-end products are completely defect free. Very large screen space- this thing is a monster compared with my 14.1" laptop screen. It's also very sleek looking and compact- the plastic bevel around the screen is less than an inch across.
- Cons: Colors were a bit too bright for my taste- I had to turn down the saturation with Catalyst so it looks more like what I'm used to. Also the base doesn't come off.. it would be impossible to return once you assemble it.
- Other Thoughts: Doesn't have a glossy screen, which is why I bought it. Viewing angle is decent for LCD monitors, but isn't even close to my Thinkpad T60's 179 degree viewing angle. Also it doesn't come in much packaging so it's blind luck if it's not destroyed during shipping (UPS won't replace badly-padded packages).

Awesome monitor and high resolution
- Pros: Very bright and excellent color. I actually turn the brightness down. It's a good size, and the screen resolution (1680x1050) is great and allows for a lot to be displayed on the screen simultaneously.
- Cons: NONE
- Other Thoughts: I've had this monitor for over 2 years now and had absolutely no problems. It has also never had any dead pixels. This is a really good monitor and I wish I could justify buying another to do dual monitors.
Great monitor with good price
- Pros: The monitor looks great right out of the box. It is extremely bright, which is great for a bright room but I decided to turn it down a little. Monitor has multiple inputs and it is easy to switch between the two. Presets are good too.
- Cons: Base is difficult to remove. I got 1 stuck pixel (red) but I didn't even notice it for about a month and a half.
- Other Thoughts: The one stuck pixel drove me nuts (once i found it after owning it for a month) but now I don't even notice it. The screen resolution is great and games look amazing on it. I have two computers hooked up to the monitor, my work pc and my gaming pc and it is very easy to switch between the two. I would love to get another one!
Great Monitor! Labor Day Steal!
- Pros: Beautiful picture, it is very bright but, I like and just turned down the settings somewhat. Makes Warhammer Online (OB) look incredible on high settings. Works well with my KVM switch.
- Cons: None. One dead pixel. I don't even notice it.
- Other Thoughts: Got this on the Labor Day Special. Well worth it money even without the Labor Day discount!
