Great Monitor

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: Based on price and quality it's great. I brought this originally when it was $700 here and everything else at 24" was $1000+. Haven't had any problems with games or vidoes on it.

Cons: No extras on the monitor. After a year some burnt out pixels appeared but are not in a critical location. Gets pretty hot.

Other Thoughts: Despite all the cons it's a great monitor for the price.

Acer 24" LCD monitor

Pros: It is a huge LCD monitor and I just love it. DVI and VGA connectors are plus. DVI with HDCP is the reason why I chose this monitor. Most importantly, the prcie is so attractive. Got it somewhere for just $xx with free shipping. WOW...

Cons: No HDMI connection.

Other Thoughts: 1920*1200 is very high resolution. With this monitor with my 8800GTS card, the display is just stunning.

Pros: For starters I was worried about getting a dead pixel and what not and was very happy to see NONE! ABSOLUTELY NONE! I was very happy to see this! I was stunned by how big this monitor was (i'v never seen 1 bigger then 19 inches lol). So I was like wow. I tried some games and this monitor is amazing. I was lucky to see this last day it was on sale for 300$ flat free 3 days shipping. as I couldnt' spend anymore very lucky indeed I was.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I can't believe how lucky I got to see this monitor for 300 dollars and free 3 days shipping on the very last day. Was a weekend thing. Very glad the other monitor i was looking at got discontinued othewrize I might not have found this!

Pros: Excellent color rendition after you use their software to tune the color balance. I am using GeForce 6400gs card in a dual core 3ghz pentium with 4 GB of RAM.

Just ordered a second one, for my trading desk. Can get two full web pages side by side.

Cons: Works great on axis, colors shift off axis. Not good for group viewing, great for desktop work.

Occasionally, loses signal, and requires PC to be rebooted. Powering on and off does not reset it.
