5 out of 5 eggsI love it :D

Pros: For starters I was worried about getting a dead pixel and what not and was very happy to see NONE! ABSOLUTELY NONE! I was very happy to see this! I was stunned by how big this monitor was (i'v never seen 1 bigger then 19 inches lol). So I was like wow. I tried some games and this monitor is amazing. I was lucky to see this last day it was on sale for 300$ flat free 3 days shipping. as I couldnt' spend anymore very lucky indeed I was.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I can't believe how lucky I got to see this monitor for 300 dollars and free 3 days shipping on the very last day. Was a weekend thing. Very glad the other monitor i was looking at got discontinued othewrize I might not have found this!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Excellent color rendition after you use their software to tune the color balance. I am using GeForce 6400gs card in a dual core 3ghz pentium with 4 GB of RAM.

Just ordered a second one, for my trading desk. Can get two full web pages side by side.

Cons: Works great on axis, colors shift off axis. Not good for group viewing, great for desktop work.

Occasionally, loses signal, and requires PC to be rebooted. Powering on and off does not reset it.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Monitor

Pros: Wide and easy on the eyes, comes with dvi and vga cables. I use it for video editing, graphics, animation, video watching. I like not having to sit up close to look at tiny details.

Cons: no hdmi input

Other Thoughts: Very comfy on my eyes after staring at it for hours on end. The darks are a bit too dark for my taste, I'm just using all factory defaults, haven't had time to mess with the settings.

3 out of 5 eggsNothing but smoke

Pros: Good picture quality.

Cons: Not very good with blacks/greys.
Desktop icons, background images and static windows will easily burn into the monitor if there is high contrast (white icons on black background image for example).
Specific "1050" is not always supported if you don't have the right driver or resolution software).

Other Thoughts: After 2.5 years of service it just died. There was actually smoke coming out of the back (I guess that was the monitors soul) and the screen went black. I will stick with Apple monitors from now on - paying twice the price seems OK if you get twice the quality and 4 times the life expectancy.

1 out of 5 eggsPass on this monitor

Pros: It's big. It's bright. It plays games beautifully and I get awesome images. But...

Cons: Husband and I purchased two of these monitors one for him, one for me. Within a week, the DVI port on mine went out. Two days later, the VGA went out. Tried different cords, tried monitor on different PC, and nothing. Plugged in old monitor, worked fine. Shipped it back to Acer. After I had it for two weeks, the DVI port went out again. After 5 months, the VGA is still working (for now) via a DVI convertor. Husband's monitor, a couple days after we bought it the DVI went out on it. He was fine for a good 5 months on the VGA port and it just went out so we've had to ship it for repair.

Other Thoughts: I wish we didn't have all the problems with this monitor...aside from that it's great but as stated with the cost of shipping, no matter what kind of deal (even if free), this you will easily make up the cost of the monitor and more over the life if you have to ship it as much as we have.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away - Faulty

Pros: This monitor is absolutly Amazing in terms of picture and view, its extremely crisp and everything I would and could ask for in a monitor for this price.

Cons: After buying this, and owning it for a few months. On a completely new and built machine, I started getting a "No Signal" Error during normal usage (I.E. not rebooting or shutting down, but during gameplay and just overal desktop usage) It was not my computer but the monitor itself. Stray away from this monitor, it will give out, and end up costing you $70+ every few months when you ship it back to get it fixed. Stay away, every one of these has had the same problem, all bought at different times.

1 out of 5 eggsThey keep dying

Pros: I love the video quality of this monitor. It's clear, crisp, and refreshes quite nicely. But...

Cons: This is the third monitor of this model we've owned, and each has died at least twice. My desktop monitor died again today, for the third time. There's warranty repair, but it costs $70 to ship the thing back, and up to a month before it's returned to me. I have to say: avoid this monitor.

Other Thoughts: It's sad the reliabiity is so bad, because otherwise, I truly love the device. But if it dies constantly (and since we've had three, purchased at different times, all of which died), it's clear it's not something worth getting.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value - Super Screen

Pros: 1920x1200
It has simple adjustments
Looks Great!

Cons: No built in speakers

Other Thoughts: This is a great value. If you are looking to maximize your desktop environment, this monitor is a great way to do that. I think I paid the same for this as I did my 19in standard like 2years ago. I absolutely love this product.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: HUGE! Sitting next to my 14" laptop, this monitor seems unreal. I have not found any dead or stuck pixels, and it is very bright. And it was cheap compared to other 24" monitors.

Cons: It doesn't fit on my desk as well as I had hoped due to the overall size. The frame protruded a little farther than i thought it did, and i was pretty sure it would just fit. Mostly my mistake, I guess. But it is still worth the trade-off of such a large monitor.

Other Thoughts: Overall, an awesome product. It works well as a second monitor with my laptop (with no dedicated graphics card). I am impressed with the quality of this product for the price I payed.
