Impressive
- Pros: HUGE! I went from a 19" (18"viewable) lcd monitor that I bought about 8 years ago to this and what a difference. The real estate on the desktop is impressive. Colors are bright and vivid. I use this screen for gaming mostly, and have not seen any ghosting. Text and graphics are also clear, no problems with color quality. I ended up purchasing this from a local retailer (sorry Newegg, we're still pals) because the price was better and I knew I could return it if I had problems. No need, this thing worked flawlessly out of the box. I did need to turn the brightness down to prevent this thing from scorching my retinas. I didn't have a lot of money to spend on features I wouldn't use (usb ports in the monitor, portrait swivel, speakers, etc), and found this monitor to be the best. If you are looking for a large, inexpensive monitor, I would recommend this to anyone.
- Cons: I couldn't afford to buy one sooner, can't afford two now!

Excellent monitor!
- Pros: Awesome picture, vivid color! Sharp image also! Coming from a 19" CRT, this is amazing! No dead pixels. Very pleased so far. Acer is of very good quality at an affordable price. I Recommend this monitor highly! Some have said there is no tilt or brighness control, trust me, they're both there.
- Cons: Abosolutely none with the monitor.
- Other Thoughts: Just wished Newegg would have followed through with No payments for 90 days that I qualified for. I clicked on the option, which is available for purchases above $250. Didnt happen. Oh well, I still got my awesome monitor!!
very good but...
- Pros: No dead pixels! Perfect for my needs. I use this monitor to do programming and some art work, then, 10% to watch movies or play games. Initially, I thought my unit is bad because of horizontal line flickers, but it turned out to be a combination of bad VGA output from my notebook computer and not so good supplied VGA cable. Now,I'm using it to my desktop PC. I attached my monitor to Ergotron LX arm and now I can do work while sitting on recliner chair.
- Cons: My unit's DVI input sometimes do not detect or very slow to detect the PC signal. Sometimes, I have to push the monitor power button off and on before it eventually starts to display. Acer support website is not easy to navigate. I hesitated to bring the unit to Acer for warranty repair because the symptoms do not always happen. They said that I have to pay for expenses if they cannot find the problem.
- Other Thoughts: Probably one of the best value 1920x1200 LCD on the market.
