An outstanding buy
- Pros: Was packaged very well.
Great touch controls on the front that work great.
The color for this monitor is very nice. I've noticed new colors while gaming that I never knew existed in those objects.
Looks amazing for movies, as well as if you are to plug in a PS3 in the HDMI output. Don't know about at 360, don't own one.
The stand feels very sturdy as well.
- Cons: Only thing that I find as a slight niche is the stand. Just wish I could move it around more ahahah. Works exactly how it says it is supposed to though in the specs.
- Other Thoughts: Everything looks and plays amazingly, and I personally like the plate on the back of the monitor that has the official Ferrari logo on it, as well as the cool little start up Ferrari trademark as well.
I didn't quite like what came on the disc that comes with the monitor though, seemed like a waste to me. It comes with a Calendar that just happens to become your desktop wallpaper and changes with the months and makes it so when you start the computer, you hear a car sound similar to Formula car sounds. Was kind of annoying, so I wouldn't recommend installing it. Everything on the disk is optional to use as well, no drivers needed.
Out of everyone that's left a comment, I seem to be the only one that got a dead pixel *sad face* Only one though, and it's in the corner. I only notice it on a white screen. I think I was just the unlucky one. I tend to have bad luck with electronics when buying them from anywhere.
Decent value
- Pros: - noticeably better image and less ghosting than my off-the-shelf Acer P221w (another 22", but 5ms)
- came with lots of plastic coating, even in places you wouldn't think would get scratched
- Cons: - glossy = reflections
- still not an IPS or professional panel, though distortion at extreme viewing angles is less marked than cheap panels
- no height/side-to-side-tilt adjustments, though it comes at a more reasonable height than the P221w; now the lowest pixel is about 4 inches off the table.

Absolutly Stunning
- Pros: There were no dead pixels even to this day. Menu buttons are on front but only seen when it's on. Amazing for games....hi res, response an dgreat color. Sleek look makes it an eye catcher. Definatly worth the price.
- Cons: somewhat expensive
- Other Thoughts: I use the monitor for 2 computers...both connected using diferent ports. One is a desktop and the other is an Acer Ferrari 4000 laptop. They truely look beutiful next to eachother. After owning the laptop for 2 1/2 years i can tell you Ferrari only puts their name on quality parts!
Very much like a ferrari indeed...
- Pros: Vibrant image quality. Easy adjustments.
- Cons: 1)GLARE. This monitor has AWFUL glare. As long as there is any light source in the room, you will see your own face reflected in the screen.
2)RED POWER LED - This monitor has a large red light (power indicator) which is always on. It's very irritating, I often to have to block it with something.
- Other Thoughts: This monitor really is a ferrari - expensive, and high quality, but its not a daily driver.
Also, dont install the disc.
Really surprised by the other ratings. I think people who like glossy screens haven't tried non-glossy screens. Why would you WANT glare?
Bad Support
- Pros: Beautiful screen, its got a style that I like. Nice aspect ratio and response time. I have seen no ghosting in WoW, Crysis, Fallout 3, or anywhere else. Neweggs customer support is great.
- Cons: Acer's customer support isn't so great. About a month after using it I had to do some work on my pc and when I turned it back on the screen was flickering, at first I guessed it was my video card but checking the screen on other pcs revealed my back light might be going out, it isn't as noticable in games or viewing dark images. I had to send it to Acer for repair because I am out of my 30 days with Newegg. I got the UPS notification that it was delivered but when I call support it won't take my SN or transfer me to an agent to check status of the repair. I hope to find something out about it this week.
Expensive.
- Other Thoughts: If Acer comes through for me I'll be sure to give an update.
