Pros: Amazing monitor period. I've owned and worked with tons of different monitors over the years. The price / performance ratio is the best bang for your buck. The x1080 resolution makes a phenomenal difference.

Cons: None I can really think of. Wish it came with a DVI cord, however it did come with a HDMI cable, which was nice, although the GPU i used this bad boy on does not support it.

Pros: This thing look as good as the day I got it.The display is very nice looking.I hae it set up in a three monitor setup and it I never turn my system off.I have three of these even though i only bought one from newegg.You will not be soory if you buy this

Cons: The only thing I dont care for is the speakers they are horible but most monitor speakers are,just get some nice speakers and you will be fine

Pros: It looks good replaced my old CRT monitor and what a difference! everything looks clear one it and blueray movies look nice. Full 1080p which is awsome and it is very bright which makes me happy!

Cons: It is a little slow on start up takes longer than expected. also the pressing the touch buttons can be kind of a hassle but having no dead pixel and clairity makes up for that.

Other Thoughts: I use it for casual gaming and watching movies. nothing to intense but make everything better. and it looks huge on my desk couldnt have ask for a better price and free shipping! Last the speaker on the monitor itself are not loud but i use my own speaker anyways so it was no biggie

Pros: -Rather Cheap for an HMDI monitor.
-HDMI input
-Comes with an HMDI cable (these can be rather pricey)
-VESA compliant
-Looks good.
-Arrived with no dead pixels (Props to Newegg and UPS)

Cons: -Screen images aren't nearly as sharp or crisp as I had hoped.
-The touch pad for the settings isn't very responsive.

Other Thoughts: I use this monitor to play my Xbox on, and as my second monitor in a dual-screen setup. I'm a little disapointed as to the quality of the overall image, but I guess that's to be expected of an HDMI monitor this cheap. Even on its native resolution, it's still not as sharp as it should be. Many of my friends have Acer monitors, and the quality on them seems to far outweigh the quality on mine. , it will do, but if you have the extra cash, drop i Overall t in to a higher quality monitor.

Pros: Good picture for moving images like gaming or video.

Cons: Stated contrast ratio is fake. That's Acer's "dynamic" contrast ratio when there is a moving image on the screen. So when the image is static (like during most PC stuff, like browsing or word processing) then the contrast ration is terrible. Text looks blurry and it is very hard to distinguish subtle differences in shading/color, so reading web pages was a chore. Also, one of my touch sensitve buttons didn't work, so I couldn't adjust settings without using the supplied software, and there was no way to adjust volume. And there is significant light bleed on the edges, but you'd expect that from any budget LCD.

Other Thoughts: The defect with the touch-sensitve button and the poor contrast ratio for PC tasks made this unusable for me. However, the monitor looked good for gaming, so if you're getting it for a X-Box or PS3, then it's good for that. But it's a one trick pony.

Pros: really crisp picture, super bright, and has a pretty small footprint

Cons: not a very hight refresh rate. only 60hz, giving me some refresh lines when playing games like borderlands or superfast movement

Other Thoughts: great for bluray, full 1080p, touch controls are pretty nice, but will disappear if you let the monitor sleep and wake it up immediatly, has HDMI, DVI, VGA if you need it. if you complain about this monitor not performing well, (which i read on another monitor review and the reviewer openly admitted to having old outdated technology) and you have an old computer, stop complaining and upgrade your rig.

Pros: Good color, plenty of color and viewing adjustments with software, relatively stable on it's stand, very clear, no dead pixels, can rotate picture and mount on wall for a long rather than wide screen, not as big of monster as the 23 and 24 inch screens.

Cons: Can't find external on screen display buttons that the directions say are there, color correcting part of software has some sort of conflict with my ATI Catalyst software, screen flashes on and off while windows XP is loading though I have no idea if that's Acer's fault or the video driver on my motherboard with this new and higher resolution.

Other Thoughts: The shiny look of the frame doesn't match my other black desk accessories but it looks sharp on it's own.

Pros: Low price, easy to use, looks good!

Cons: Would like a bit more customization options

Other Thoughts: To the people who've given this monitor a bad review: IT'S A LOW-PRICE MONITOR, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?!?!!!! Go pay hundreds more and get everything you want!

Personally, I'm stunned that I was able to get a 1080p monitor for such a low price. And I'm totally happy with the picture quality. If you're a graphic designer or someone who needs absolute precision, then please don't kid yourself that you're gonna get precision with a monitor at this price.

I've used this monitor for editing video (i.e. cutting, not color-correction or compositing) and it looks great. I even plugged it into our cable box via HDMI and the HD looks amazing! And the low price was the best part! Thanks Acer and Newegg!

Pros: Cheap $170 to my door. The resolutions I use are there, has HDMI input, can toggle between HDMI and other inputs, no noticeable lag, no smears or deformations.

Cons: ONE STUCK/DEAD PIXEL. On the 3rd day of having it I got a single pixel stuck on pink. It's not too noticeable in brighter colors or in complex displays, but it's still there. Other than that single pixel going out it's been perfect in every other way. I've had this for almost 2 months now.

Other Thoughts: I recommend it, if the pixels stop dying.
