3 out of 5 eggsgood value at $159.00

Pros: inexpensive, matte screen, good value for $159.00

Cons: No height adjustment just Tilt

Refresh rate not great for high motion scenes but for general office work hard to beat. I bought 2 thinking of buying a third

5 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor for the price

Pros: I got this monitor for 161.99. Can't beat that price for a 27" monitor.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The brightness needs to be turned down some it's the only adjustment I had to make to the settings.

4 out of 5 eggsA bit blurry for actual monitor use, great otherwise

Pros: Lots of screen space
Bright
Easy to setup
Low power consumption

Cons: Pixels are too big to use as an actual monitor used for text. I write software 8+ hours a day and need crisp text. Unfortunately, this doesn't do it because the pixel density is too low. The text looks blurry and gives me a headache after a couple hours of use. My 25" 1080p Asus monitor was considerably clearer.

Other Thoughts: If you use this for something like CCTV or watching certain videos, it's decent although the refresh rate is a bit high for motion. In my case, I'm left disappointed in the image quality.

Given the blurriness, I wouldn't recommend this for actual computer use.

5 out of 5 eggsAcres of Screen

Pros: Very low price for the size. Bright screen.

Cons: I actually had to adjust the brightness down, during broad daylight.

Other Thoughts: Was considering going to UltraWide format, but for the price I tried this 27" and it is possibly the best hardware decision I've made.

3 out of 5 eggsOne is great, other is not.

Pros: I own two of these monitors and they are both very nice. The VESA mount on the back is perfect for using a different stand than the one provided.

Cons: One of the monitors will randomly go black. Not turn off, but black screen. I've swapped the cords used to connect to my PC and the problem persists in the same monitor.

Other Thoughts: All in all, great monitor especially for the price. I only wish that I wouldn't have to turn my monitor off and on every hour or so.

3 out of 5 eggsOk display

Pros: 1) It's a good price for the size.

Cons: 1) Colors seemed washed out on some websites.
2) No HDMI
3) OSD has setting to adjust volume for speakers, but the unit has no speakers. Lazy programming to not remove that option from the OSD.
4( Noticed some delay in some fast moving seasons in some HD videos I was watching.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this monitor from a local retailer because they were out of stock on the monitor I originally wanted. Took it home and set it up and noticed colors on Facebook, and some other websites seemed a bit washed out even after calibrating it. Will be returning this as I just ordered an Acer H276HL IPS monitor from NewEgg.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price!

Pros: Super no-frills monitor for the price ($159 with promo code). I use it for pc gaming, web/email and TV. I've had it since November. I like it so much I just bought a second to run a dual monitor setup. I'm very pleased so far.

Cons: I wish the base had a height adjustment

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy One Month On...

Pros: For the price, nothing can beat this 27" monitor. I got in on sale, wary of the low price, but the reviews were pretty good, most after only a few days.
However, I wanted to come back after having it over a month now, to say this is still a fantastic monitor, for me. I only use it to watch TV, no gaming. I took it out of the box, plugged it all in, and haven't had to adjust anything yet.

Cons: It does get caught up with very active onscreen action, but that could just be the media player. Some stuff plays normal, some stuff jams. But again, the exact same stuff jammed on my old monitor, too, so it may have nothing to do with the monitor.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, this is a great product so far. Could not be happier.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: Crisp picture, easy hookup, comparable with more expensive models

Cons: only 2 inputs

Other Thoughts: This is probably the best purchase that I could have made. I got exactly what I wanted without paying as much as I would have with more expensive models, with the same results.
