5 out of 5 eggsStill rockin

Pros: purchased in jan of 2007, it is now march 2013.
I have moved every year save one, and this monitor is still kicking.

Cons: It does have 1 red stuck pixel, sort of top/off center. I don't notice it most of the time. Probably happened about 1 year into ownership

Other Thoughts: If I were smart, I would have gotten two. This is an amazing Monitor, I still game with it all the time. I support my original review that I made back in 2007 about it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Monitor works great right out of the box. Sceptre is known for its good qualities, and that is shown here.

Cons: Non really.

Other Thoughts: This is same monitor we order for all the workstations where I work. Been using this monitor for awhile now, and decided to get it when I bought my PC. Will stick with Sceptre for a long time.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent deal

Pros: I ordered two of these. Both came with no dead pixels, picture quality and clarity is astonishing for the price. One of these is going to be used for reading medical x-rays, which the contrast ratio really helps on.

Cons: does not come with a DVI cable, less than average manufacturer warrenty, the blue light bleed from the bottom can become annoying, but not that big of a deal

Other Thoughts: Even after buying a DVI cable this is still one of the cheapest monitors with the highest quality.
I have not even tried the sound, because I use a headset, but in any case I would not advise using the monitor speakers for any serious audio experience.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat monitor

Pros: Absolutely great monitor. I use it for work as well as gaming and it has been exellent. It is superb on my Powermac G5.

Cons: I had some shadows when using the included VGA cable (probably cable quality) but then I bought a DVI cable and it cleared right up.

Other Thoughts: If you don't like the red lights when your computer is off-here's a solution: turn it off!

1 out of 5 eggsavoid

Pros: Apparent good deal. Was initially pleased with the screen. As always Newegg got it to me quickly. No bad pixels as far as i could tell.

Cons: Flimsy stand, but have noticed some others that are not that stout, either. Good solid desk and that is not a big deal. Lit up logo very annoying to some people(but not me).

Other Thoughts: Had this for three months and the monitor died, showing a purple logo(nothing in the manual or web about that). Fine, RMA, meanwhile using my cheapo 17" backup CRT. Get another monitor shipped to me. Come to find out, it was the same, not a new monitor. It worked again for two months, and now again gives the purple logo and no display. Very anoying as it cost big $ to ship the first time, but the company will pay for shipping 2nd time. Not trying to be disparaging to their customer support at all, but I guess that I tried to go cheap and got burned.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor! Bright!

Pros: Bright, vivid, and looks good.

Cons: Blue sceptre logo is annoying, and that it did not come with a DVI cable. The stand that comes with it sucks get a new one!

Other Thoughts: Had a funny pixel that would stay on. I gave it a little tap with my finger and fixed. No dead pixels found.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very bright, vibrant color/contrast

Cons: Bought two; one has a stuck pixel, color display doesn't match despite matching display settings

Other Thoughts: Consider getting a good VESA arm or some other mount. The mounts work, but they wobble like other people said. Definitely pick up a DVI cable. Sometimes the secondary monitor gets messed up and has to be power cycled to display anything, otherwise it's all white.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Wow. That is all I have to say. No dead/stuck pixels, but I guess that depends on the unit itself. Images look great on it. Games look amazing on it. No ghosting.

Cons: When I turn on my computer it takes a little long to turn on so I can't see my bios load screen so I guess when to hit the key to get into it. Wish it had the ability to change the height.

Other Thoughts: The blue bleeding isn't bad at all. I never notice it, and I am picky about things like that. The stand isn't as bad as people say. No you can't expect a earthquake and have it not wobble, but if you hit your desk, it doesn't wobble.
