Nice, great price
- Pros: Great picture quality. No dead pixels. Solid construction. Great price. No useless, tinny speakers to bulk up case.
- Cons: No DVI. No speakers -- you may want speakers in your monitor ... for some reason.
- Other Thoughts: I needed an LCD that would fit into a 16" wide space for a friend's new system. She wanted a widescreen, and it's very difficult to find a widescreen LCD that's not a 19" model, and doesn't include useless speakers. Where, here it is -- a 17" widescreen, exactly 16" wide, trusted name brand, at a low price. The picture is great -- not blindingly bright like most low-priced LCDs, and not one dead pixel. The stand is solid and not shaky. I highly recommend this if you lack room for a 19" widescreen or just want to save a few bucks.

didn't work at 1440/900
- Pros: Uh, its an inexpensive monitor.
- Cons: Couldn't get it to display properly at 1440/900. This is with ati 2600 512 mb card on xp. Also the installation directions explicitly tell you to ignore the warning by your os(msoft) that the monitor is not msoft logo approved! I'll probably be returning mine and getting a different monitor, by a different manufacturer.
