5 out of 5 eggsLovin' it

Pros: Beautiful monitor

Cons: 1 dead pixel, but you can only expect that with a monitor with so many pixels ^_^

5 out of 5 eggsTotal Appreciation

Pros: Excellent Monitor for the price. Plus 3D ready for those wanting to delve off into the 3D realm. Newegg had this delivered to me in a heartbeat. The only thing really that was to complain about, is the fact that it has like one or two stuck pixels. But this doesn't affect the overall screen quality at all, and is hardly noticeable. I give Newegg a full basket of eggs. My first time ordering, and it was a pleasant one.

Cons: Just three.
No HDMI Port, VGA, or Headphone Jack.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this Monitor to anyone wanting to do 3D gaming, while on a budget.

5 out of 5 eggsGaming 120hz

Pros: 120hz awesomeness aside, the color on this is really great! Replaced my Sony Bravia I was using as a monitor with this and i'm 100% satisfied. Really noticeable difference from 60 hz to 120hz in FPS games. The Samsung seems almost the same to me from some research but this saves you money.

Cons: Came with one dead pixel. The dead pixel is hardly noticeable though, especially during gameplay. As a matter of fact I can't even find it while typing this up against a white background right now. Some bleeding on the bottom and top but that doesn't bug me all that much either. Almost all monitors do to some extent. If you aren't restricted by a budget then there's newer ones out at the moment (Alienware 1080p 500+ bucks for example).

Other Thoughts: I love newegg. Delivery from IN to SoCal in around 24-32 hours! Great customer service regarding this order.

5 out of 5 eggsOnce you go 120hz, you'll never go back.

Pros: If you're a gamer, and your current setup is limited to 60 FPS by the monitor, but is capable of much higher FPS, you will FULLY appreciate this monitor.

The difference is astounding.

Brilliantly bright, vivid colors, perfect for many applications, but you will fully get the most out of it with gaming.

Cons: I have NO cons to post.

Other Thoughts: I actually waited until my 21" CRT died before purchasing an LCD, because I was accustomed to high FPS, and didn't want to downgrade my FPS to 60 with the older style LCDs.

This monitor rocks.

I have not tried any of the advertised 3D uses, and cannot comment on the 3D capabilities.

5 out of 5 eggsMmmm 120hz

Pros: Excellent image quality, 120hz

Cons: Flimsy stand, no OSD

Other Thoughts: I love this thing. I made the switch from CRT to LCD in 2003. Now that I'm back on 120hz refresh, games like Quake Live just seem so much easier. Everything is very fluid. A definite must if you are a competitive FPS gamer.

3 out of 5 eggsScan Lines & Win 7 Support

Pros: 3D, good price.

Cons: After using 120hz 3D, scan lines appear everywhere.
No brightness control or anything else in Windows 7. Haven't released drivers...
ViewSonic is usually great but the lack of Windows7 drivers on this "High End" monitor is a killer.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Super sharp, crisp, bright. No dead pixels. No flicker or jumpy motion effects. A perfect gaming monitor.

Cons: Very few hardware adjustments available. You'll have to use Nvidia's software tools to fine tune it to your liking, but it can be done, and it's not that much of an issue. Once you use Nvidia's brightness adjustment, it seems to disable the monitor brightness buttons.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you use the supplied DVI cable. I tried using my previous DVI cable from my old 60 Hz LCD monitor, and I had major problems at 120 Hz. Switched to the supplied cable, and all the problems went away. I couldn't detect any difference in the cables except the new one has ferrite cores clamped around the cable at both ends.

5 out of 5 eggsmonitor

Pros: thing is awsome. HUGE upgrade from my old samsung. no dead pixils colors are amazing. backlight is a little bright but its not bad at all. i wouldn't complain cant even see it when your playing, only on solid black screen.

Cons: no adjustment for colors or brightness but the stock setting are really good. If your running Ati you may have difficulties with 120hz because 2d clock speed is to low for 120hz and is not adjustable on my 5850. i hope they come out with drivers soon but i found a way to make it work using another monitor that is off running duplicate mode some how that made it work and doesn't just keep crashing my whole system. it would work on 110 before but 120 is better =).

Other Thoughts: Stand is fine. i don't see why anyone would complain. its pretty solid. they should have just made it 1080p and 24" but whatever the 120hz for half the price of the acer [if you look arround other than on here]. im very happy with it. wish would have bought it sooner.

5 out of 5 eggsFANTASTIC GAMING MONITOR!

Pros: There is a HUGE difference between playing an EXTREMELY fast paced game like Unreal Tournament III @ 75Hz & 120Hz

Cons: I didn't buy one earlier

Other Thoughts: My eyes are a bit more relaxed now :)

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: This thing has great colors, bright viewing and smooth as can be at any refresh rate, I have ati so have no clue how the 3d is and bought it for the eye strain and so far it's working, I do a lot of gaming for extended periods and work from it and my other new monitor wasn,t cutting it

Cons: none so far! i will post for sure if anything changes
I had to buy elsewhere to save money

Other Thoughts: stand seams fine to me but I don't knock my monitor around, anyhow I am replacing a sam syncmaster mega dollar one and this rocks it 100% for colors especially since they arent washed out like my other. (from new)
I would highly recomend this to anyone who wants to reduce eye strain and doe4sn't mind the 1680x1050 max resolution, I am totally impressed.

My 1st viewsonic and I'm sold for sure on bang for buck
P.S. just use your card drivers for adjustments if needed, I put mine back to default cause this was very tuned in out of box-That's a 1st
