Can it be mounted on the wall??

It comes as shown on the picture - with a regular table stand.  If you need to mount it on the wall you have to buy a separate  wall mounting bracket - but I don't have any information about it (even if this is possible).  Did I answer your question?  Thanks.

Used in a desktop / laptop configuration: yes. The speakers are not the greatest.  But, you could config the audio output via control panel to got out to any speakers you have. This is a great monitor... You will enjoy!

I think this monitor and the Asus are a wash.  I typically buy Asus as my preferred brand for most computer products. However, I do like the external look of Viewsonic monitor more and that is why I purchased it.  I am very happy with it for the value.

I know this monitor has 2ms response, but have you experienced some ghosting in games/movies/general use?

We have several of these and have never has an issue with them. We use them in a business so I cannot say how they perform when gaming but we do use them with AutoCAD  and other graphics applications and they perform without any noticeable image problems.

can this handle dual screen setup?

With the right cables , I don't see why not. Come off the video card with a splitter cable and connect the monitors to that.  Windows 7 / 8 makes it easy enough to set up it seems... I run dual monitors at work , no problem.As soon as I get a chance to pick up another one of these monitors , that is what I plan on doing at home. hope this was helpful.

very good monitor can get bright enough to light up a bedroom quite nicely and that is without it mounted on a wall and very easy setup and seems very durable and works with game consoles without any struggle.

the moniter is good.  not excellent. the speakers on board are not very strong, you still will need extrenal speakers
 the controls are confusing
 clarity is not the best it's fair. I really expected more from this screen. I love the 3 different video  conections, hdmi,dvi, and vga. this model is about 4 years old. I am sure you could find better models out there. shop around there are better for same cost. I would give 2.5 stars.

The outside width of the monitor is 22".  The height from top to the bottom of the center of the monitor (the part right below the word Viewsonic at the bottom of the monitor) is 14".  (These dimensions are not approximate - they are exactly 22 and exactly 14.)  These are for the monitor portion only - no stand measurements.
