Pros: this is a great monitor. the picture is just about perfect right out of the box at its factory default settings. no calibration needed. games look great, photos look great. perfect size screen. shipped fast. no changing tones and colors when i move to another position.
Cons: takes a couple minutes to warm up after it has been off for a while, not too long though. kind of big and clunky. price, although i got it on sale.
Other Thoughts: Even though it is expensive it was worth the money. A million times better than tn panels.

Pros: Quality - you pay for it and then you don't regret it. This monitor is so good that I don't know how I worked without it before. Don't know which is better: the display or it's mechanical properties. The stand is the best there is, imo, which makes a huge difference over the life of a display. All controls are easy to understand - custom color settings is the best. Play with it until your eyes/brain are totally happy. Worth the extra $$$ for picky users like me. Thanks, HP.

Other Thoughts: You won't look back and say "Gee, I wish I hadn't done that!" Also makes you want to upgrade your graphics card(s)!
