How much can this stand tilt downwards?

The stand does not have any forward or backward tilt. You can only rotate the display or height adjust the display.

I am not sure how this sits. I did not see grommets or a clamp? Does it just sit on the desk? This is what I am looking for.

it has rubber feet i believe and just sits right on the desk. all you have to do is secure the monitor to the stand, you do not have to secure the stand to anything
