Pros: Colors are great compared to my old HP 17" widescreen. On my HP monitor, the light was all messed up and there was nothing that could be done for it. So I chose this because it is a great deal on a 20", and it turns out to be one of the best things I have ever bought. Gaming is a totally new experience now that I am able to see!
Cons: DVI cable didn't work for some reason, no problems because there was VGA cable and it looks just as good. This monitor could not have been better for the price.
Does not double as a toaster oven :'(
Other Thoughts: Great price, don't miss out. I'd buy another for dual, but this is a budget build.

Pros: Nice clear display, very sharp text, easy-to-see control buttons, comes with both DVI and analog cables; plenty of adjustment options should make this monitor useable for almost any applications. NO dead pixels. 3-year warranty. All in all, a great monitor at a reasonable price. Another fine ASUS product..

Pros: The monitor is very bright, and came with no dead pixels. Definition is very good. Comes with preset configurations that can be customized with buttons on the monitor. Built-in speaker are a nice feature for backup if your main speakers break, but don't plan on using them regularly, they don't have good quality.
Cons: -Tech support wasn't able to give me an explanation for this, but if you connect your monitor with a VGA cable, you will have to keep the brightness at 100%, or the monitor will emit a high pitched buzzing sound. This is not a problem with DVI cables. -Some of the preset configurations don't look very good, I found that a slightly modified "scenery" configuration gave the best colors and suited me better. -The buttons are positioned in a somewhat counter-intuitive fashion. -The dead pixel policy is not the best, a company like ASUS should have a 0 dead pixel policy and fully guarantee the quality of their products (see http://support.asus.com.tw/repair/repair.aspx?no=481&SLanguage=en-us)
Other Thoughts: It takes a little bit to get used to the 16:9 ratio, but in a couple weeks of use, you won't even notice it anymore.

Pros: This is all that you would expect from a high resolution monitor. Direct out of the box plugged it in and it fired up. Didn't even need to load the CD driver that came with the unit. Overall it's a very good monitor and would recommend purchasing one and you can't beat the price.
Cons: Found 1 dead Pixel in the lower left corner of the screen. Not a real big deal and I'm happy it's not in the middle of the screen.
Other Thoughts: Has a 3 year warranty.

Pros: There are no dead pixels. The speakers quality are not that bad. The stand is not that bad to take apart and put together.
Cons: None really. The glossiness is almost annoying since it shows shears and dust.
Other Thoughts: I got it for a good deal on Black Friday 2009.
