good price, looks great
- Pros: Great picture, great price. My wife is the primary user. She was hesitant about getting a new monitor, but loves it now that she has it. Arrived quickly and in great condition.
- Cons: The sound from the integrated speakers is about what you'd expect (not too good) and seems to be directed away from the user. We've unplugged them and gone back to external speakers.
- Pros: Purchased this as a second monitor for my work. Picture is excellent quality, colors are quite good with almost no visible washout. Black is pretty good for a monitor in this price range. It really has no obvious issues that bother me personally. Built-in speakers are handy as long as your expectations are not set too high for sound quality. No dead or stuck pixels.
- Cons: Viewing angles arent quite what are advertised from Asus in my opinion. But this is still only visible from some pretty extreme angles so I do not think this warrants a down-rating. A height adjustable stand would be nice as well.
- Other Thoughts: Speakers are not what I would call great, probably on a par with any cheap desktop set that you could buy for 10-20 dollars. But that is exactly what I expected when I made this purchase, so I dont count that as a con.
- Pros: Love it looks so good...arrived from New Egg in 2days...Easy set up
- Cons: none that I can see...didn't hook up the speakers as I have great speakers.
