5 out of 5 eggsA lot of monitor!

Pros: Huge screen! Width takes some getting used to, photoshop has a ton of space now and I can put all my tools in one place which is cool.

Cons: None right now.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: 1. Great screen.
2. Fantastic stand, very sturdy.
3. Ultra-wide screen.

Cons: Did not come in a shipping box, was in the manufacturer box with a good sized hole in the front from UPS. Definitely not a good feeling to have seen that when it arrived, especially for a monitor of this price. Newegg could of done better for sure.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a solid screen and want an ultra-wide with a solid stand with positioning options, this is it!

3 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming monitor when it works.

Pros: Large display for gaming. Fast response time. Colors mix well. Grey area is not as bad as some other large gaming monitors. Asus brand.

Cons: Unfortunately mine is only 2 months old and beginning to act up. It flickers, shows lines sometimes and colors are off. It pops which is the oddest thing. Sending in for repair or replacement so I HOPE Asus replaces it as the cost was high. It hums also. It it was not for this I would rate 5 stars.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor!

Pros: this is our second of this monitor.. I just built a new PC for myself and my wife was not having it when I wanted to take my asus Ultra wide. So here we have another. I had no reservations, great with games.. Awesome when using for work. 5ms is just fine for any games. No ghosting that I see. Shipped fast from New Egg (thank you)

Cons: Internal Speakers are loud enough for most enjoyment. If you want loud music, they are not going to cut it.. but for everything else they are good enough.

Other Thoughts: With the price change here on New Egg, this purchase is a no brainer.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Awesome for watching videos and display. Stand is adjustable.

Cons: an inch shorter than the 27" model.

Other Thoughts: I purchased two of these and at first I didn't know what to think as they are an inch shorter in height than the 27" model which makes them appear "smaller" but when I started to watch movies and play an occasional game I instantly loved them. I adjusted my fonts to work with the 2560x1080 and everything is fine. I highly suggest using HDMI and creating/purchasing the adapters where your icons won't default to the main screen when the monitor turns off after inactivity - a general HDMI issue where when powered off the system will think it is a new device when turned back on.

4 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Screen

Pros: - BIG
- Adjustable stand
- Aspect ratio give one a major advantage in FPS games due to a wider view.

Cons: - Expensive (the only reason it lost 1 egg)
- Aspect ratio does not work well for all menus inside applications. Sometimes things are chopped. Not really the display's fault since more and more users are working with multiple screens to achieve extreme aspect ratios.

Other Thoughts: If you are not buying this for FPS games, I would look at other options at the same price point that offer more screen real-estate. At the same time, this is the only monitor I have ever seen that is comfortable for productivity as a single monitor.

I personally love this monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Beautiful colors, ultra wide design makes FOV in games so amazing.

Love the stand on this monitor as well, very sturdy, no wobble, and the height adjustment works great.

No dead pixels, and no backligtht bleed, but there is alot of annoying glow

Cons: Glow - this monitor has horrible glow on the screen, which some would also call Viewing angle. There is no back light bleed, but many could confuse the glow with backlight bleed, and its just as annoying. You can tell the difference because backlight bleed is static, the glow changes and moves around depending on your closeness and viewing angle. On my screen its on the left side, which i can clearly see in dark gaming 2ft away.

I did research is this is just something you have to accept with IPS panels, The colors make up for it. I just had to accept it was there, and i ignore it now so it doesn't bother me too much. But please take note of that.
It isn't THAT bad though.

If move my head to the same distance to the outside of the right hand side, it has the glow as well.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor, nice FOV. Perfect for gaming. Bf4 looks so nice on this. Pricey, but its a good monitor.

The glow isn't that bad and doesn't hurt gaming or tv, especially since its off to the side, and its a ultra wide monitor so it wont be the center point of your view. Also you can easily move further back, or change the angle.

I think the glow is probably what other reviewers confused with backlightb leed.

well worth the price, would be 5 stars if it didn't have the glow, with isnt a flaw in the monitor itself, but rather the technonology

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb Monitor!!

Pros: Nearly everything about this monitor is great! It is fantastic for gaming and video editing. The refresh rate is great and there isn't any noticeable lag in the refresh rate with the newest games. The 21:9 aspect ratio essentially makes this monitor two-in-one, which increases work productivity. The colors are about as good as I've seen on a monitor, which is a pretty bold statement. If you are a movie buff you will love this monitor, because the 21:9 aspect ratio eliminates the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen! The biggest selling point for me was the stand; it is well built and can rise above any standard 15" laptop screen. The ability to have 3-4 windows open at the same time, while not having to even move my head is fantastic!

Cons: The price is high, but well worth it.

In low light situation when a dark game or movie is being watched there is some light bleed towards the lower right corner of the screen. I think it's hard to avoid this in 21:9 screens, because of their width. It is hardly noticeable, unless you are picky about screen like myself.

Content: Movies are great, but its a stretch to find other online content with native 21:9. Most video content, other than games and movies, will have black bars on the sides of the screen.

Other Thoughts: I think this monitor is ahead of its time. The mainstream market will shift more towards 21:9 content in the future, with the evolution of 4k.

Another thing to watch out for is make sure you have a good graphics card that can handle 2560x1080 at 60 to 100hz without killing itself. A standard card in a laptop won't work well for media content.
