5 out of 5 eggsLove them...got 4 of them

Pros: Rifht out of the box they are great, and the right size. Unlike widescreens which 2 of them would take up close to what 3 of these would.

Cons: Just saw that newegg doesn't carry Hanns G non widescreen any :((

Other Thoughts: Since newegg doesn't carry them anymore I'm going have to look else where for my monitors.

Wish I didn't have to but Hanns G Monitors been the best besides crt ones I have as back ups.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fantastically!

Pros: This monitor is great! We are using it in a business application and the picture is crisp even when not using the monitor's native resolution. Many other LCDs look pretty bad when you try using a different resolution (i.e. 800x600). The price was great, I just ordered 2 more for the office. Finally, a 19" that isn't widescreen seems huge - less strain on the eyes.

Cons: So far, none.

Pros: All pixels alive on all five.

Sets itself up - Truly Plug & Play

Cons: Nada.

Other Thoughts: Chaintech GForce 7300 and 2 Hanns-g 194D Give me a dual display that measures 12 inches high and 30 inches wide! I like it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice monitor, good color and brightness. Came with everthing including DVI Cable.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Games look good and TV card looks so much better then the CRT it replaced. Ordered a 2nd one to replace my 2nd monitor. Did'nt use the built in speakers so I don't knew how they are.

3 out of 5 eggsa little over a year, some burn-in

Pros: Real cheap. Way brighter than my laptop's lcd. Came with dvi cable. 3 year warranty (although I haven't exercised it yet so I don't know how good it is)

Cons: Right when I first used it, I've been getting stuck pixels. One would at first think they might be "dead" but with a gentle flick, it'll disappear. Time and time again, these stuck pixels show up here and there. Not that big a deal.

But, starting about two months ago (right after 1 year of usage), I noticed some heavy burn-in. I know burn-in isn't the proper term for lcd's. I use my computer a lot during the day and usually have my buddy list docked to the side. I do turn off the monitor if I'm not using it (also screen saver). I've since moved my buddy list to the other side. The burn-in faded a bit, but for the past few weeks, hasn't gotten any better than that.

Other Thoughts: I've carried on my usage habits for years and never had burn-in issues with even really old crt's. I've had fixed images on for months at a time on my laptop's lcd, and it never exhibited this type of issue.

If I do end up warrantying it, I'll post back with how that went.

Manufacturer Response:

Ziddey,

LCD monitors can have "image retention" if you keep the same graphic displayed for long periods of time. Usually it can be corrected by running a screen saver for 8-24 hours that has moving images/colors or shutting down the monitor for a few days.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent For The Price

Pros: No dead pixels, very bright, fabulous price, color is great with adjustments, buttons work well by comparison to my old lcd, menu navigation and settings are adequate, viewing angle adequate, the up and down tilt satisfies my need, attractive enough.

Cons: Space for plugging in cables is tight, the default display settings are too bright and too blue and so must be adjusted. Also, if I turn on my computer and screen together a mass of green, blue, and red pixels show up on the desktop screen and distort the picture until I turn the monitor off and then on again. That may be a computer video problem rather than the monitor, but my old LCD monitor did not do that.

Other Thoughts: The viewing angle may not be enough for three people to see the screen at the same time and there are no height or swivel adjustments; but most people don't need either, so why pay more to get such ammenities?
