Could I get some information as to the refresh rate this monitor has? No information is posted in the specificiations section about it.

On my Macbook at max resolution it looks like 60 Hz.

Slightly unrelated but the color/contrast change when viewed from higher or lower angles is worse than I expected, but you get what you pay for!

Will it work with Lenovo desktop?

It should be fine as long as you have a vga (typically blue d sub connector).  If your desktop has a dvi out connector for video you may need an adapter for vga.  Most desktops support vga. This monitor accepts vga only.

I received my monitor today, not thinking there would be a problem going from a HD monitor to VGA.  My laptop only has the following ports: usb, hdmi and ethernet.  My HDMI to VGA cable will not carry the signal.  What cable do you recommend for me?  I'd appreciate the help!

You would need an hdmi to vga converter box which can cost quite a bit. Sorry bud, this is a vga only input screen. pretty lame i know.

Yes. I currently have mine connected to a ergotron mount and it works and looks great.

I use monitors in our restaurant kitchen.  The ports to attach the vga cable and power have to be at the bottom of the back of the monitor.  So the cords that connect are vertically inserted into the ports.  How does the back of this monitor look?

The VGA cable coonects to the monitor on bottom. the connector orientation is pointing straight up, vertically connecting the the monitor
