4 out of 5 eggsexcellent monitor

Pros: very bright.. i mainly view on economy mode (lowest brightness), the "picture" setting is way to bright for me :) also has an auto focus feature, which seems to do a good job of adjusting the demensions of the screen!

Cons: im sure there could be more features.. the speakers could deff be better.

cant view it well at the angle i like to sit in my chair.. have to raise my chair, or sit monitor lower.. regular LCD problem, no biggie

Other Thoughts: unfortunatly did not buy this from newegg. but i had to review it, after seeing it was for sale here.. its my first LCD monitor, so i was excited to find an affordable widescreen monitor after my 19" CRT died.

5 out of 5 eggsVERY Surprised!

Pros: I bought this monitor to replace a 15" Dell that was starting to lose pixels. I didn't have a lot in my budget, and I wanted something in the 19-20" range with DVI. When I found this WIDESCREEN monitor for $150, I was a little hesitant, but decided to give it a try. It is VERY bright (I actually has to turn down the brightness), very responsive, and absolutely terrific in every way!

Cons: Like one of the other reviewers said, it doesn't come with the DVI cable, but for $150 - WHO CARES?

Other Thoughts: Wish that I had bought more than 1.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor!

Pros: No dead pixels.
Huge compared to my old 15".
Sturdy stand.
Worked immediately with Windows XP.
Great monitor, well worth the buy!

Cons: Buttons behind front on monitor, not too bad but makes it a little difficult when changing prefs.

Other Thoughts: Wish it had HDCP..

5 out of 5 eggsYou Will Be Amazed !

Pros: I purchased for home office primarily for spread sheets & internet as one of my old HP f50's was flickering it's way to monitor heaven. So although I didn't buy this here, I felt compelled to write as I have purchased many things @ the Egg, and value greatly the opinions of my fellow Egg-Heads. You will be absolutely blown away by the quality of this monitor. Yes it excells @ Excel, but watch some HD TV on it or play any game and you will be amazed like I was. Fast 5 ms response, bright as sunshine, crystal clear images, with a clarity as sharp as a tack. The narrow bezel is sleak, & this old EggPlant just loves sleak.

Cons: I didn't buy 2 when they were on sale.

Other Thoughts: You cannot go wrong here. Westinghouse has been in business since the 1880's in one form or another, so you know there's a longstanding tradition of quality and inovation behind their products. Trust me, this is a solid product that you will be extreamly happy with.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat LCD

Pros: This is a great monitor to say the least. It is very bright, but it has 3 levels of brightness, text, economy, or picture. It also has 5ms response time so there is absolutely no ghosting.

Cons: Doesn't come with a DVI cable. Only like 10 dollars though.

Other Thoughts: Get this monitor if you want one that excels in gaming and is fairly cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsWestinghouse is the most underrated brand!

Pros: Very thin monitor about an 1 1/2 thick takes up barely any space!
1440X900 resolution MAX. DVI inputs and VGA. Widescreen is very nice.
This monitor looks like a 20-22 inch when you are on playing on it!
I upgraded from an HP CRT 17 inch monitor and I couldn't be happier.
5ms means no lag in any games CS:S BF2 all run awesome and look much better!

Super bright screen you can shut off all the other lights in your room folks this baby is like a christmas tree!

Packaged very easily and safe, small box.

Rotating angles of the stand so you can get the best viewing spot!

Cons: Speakers I woudln't even try them out I didn't.

I didn't buy this from Newegg but mine came with one single dead pixel about an inch from the bottom so I returned it got a new one and now my monitor is perfect condition.

Small power buttons and menu buttons.

Useless user manual.

Other Thoughts: If your a gamer you cannot go wrong with this. It is $1XX.99 is a great value for such a quality product.
