The 1920x1200 (max) WUXGA Resolution and 16:10 Wide Aspect Ratio let you view wide documents with ease and work in multiple windows with less scrolling and toggling between applications.
  • newegg Ergonomic Stand Customize your viewing experience with the height-adjustable stand and tilt, swivel and pivot features. Or save valuable desktop space by detaching the panel from the stand for wall mounting (wall mounting equipment sold separately).
  • newegg Extensive Connectivity - HDMI, D-Sub, DVI, DisplayPort, USB 2.0 Enhance sound and picture quality with HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI-D digital connector with high-bandwidth Digital Copy Protection (HDCP) Ready. 5 out of 5 eggsGorgeous display with a plethora of bells and whistles.

Pros: -IPS display. (Ideal for multi-monitor setups with angled side displays).

-16:10 Aspect ratio. (Extra pixel height makes websites more organized and much easier to read)

-1920x1200 (Proper HD resolution)

-12 bit color processing

-supports 1.07billion colors

-6ms response time (adequate for gaming)

-Advanced long-life CCFL back-lighting (LED is not as accurate and hurts my eyes when viewing up close)

-Excellent build quality, touch construction.

-Supports all major movement (Tilt, swivel, rotation)

-Stand and base are solid metal. Base is wide and keeps monitor from wobbling.

-Touch tone buttons are tactile and sense approaching objects (as if the monitor is a sentient being.)

-Plenty of Display adjustment options in OSD to set the monitor up exactly the way you want to.

-Monitor shares a very sleek and angular aesthetic. Goes wonderful with my Obsidian 800D case.

-Monitor sports all major display inputs (vga, dvi, hdmi, display port, component).

-Also sports a useful usb hub for easy access

-AG coating/film is removable with a proper procedure.

Very well priced for the quality, feature set, and availability.

Dell, please keep making these wonderful monitors. They far exceed others in terms of quality.

Cons: -Anti-glare coating is a little thicker than other monitors and I would have preferred a glossy screen.

-Not 120hz refresh rate. (Although 60hz is still very acceptable for gaming.)

Other Thoughts: When considering monitors I found that it is quite difficult to impossible to find one that has everything a person could possibly want.

Most monitors have one feature but not another. Whether be a monitor sporting IPS but not 120hz or having a great panel but a cruddy stand.

In the end, I had to find a monitor that was well rounded in terms of performance, price, and availability.

The Dell U2410, although aimed at professional graphics work, is a fantastic monitor for gaming and is one of the best built monitors I have ever had the pleasure of using.

With that being said, I like knowing that this monitor does have advanced color support and the ability to handle games so I am not limited to either or. Best of both worlds.

Now, there were other monitors that were more aimed towards gaming but I found that the U2410 performed as well if not better than those other monitors.

Generally, the U2410 is great for viewing web pages, supporting accurate color, and enabling fast responsiveness for gaming.

All in all, the U2410 with its sharp, high pixel density LG panel, advanced support for 1.07billion colors, 12bit processor, low response time, support for all major monitor inputs, support for all major monitor orientations, excellent build quality, robust menu settings, and price make this monitor, in my opinion, one of the best monitors ever made.

If you want a Polymath of a monitor, this one easily takes the throne for best overall support and performance.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome

Pros: great stand. you can really move it anywhere you want and it rotates more then expected too. very robust feel.

the colors look good but i'll need to get back on that later. greattttt resolution for the kind of work i'm doing (the extra 120 pixels on the bottom actually does help)

Cons: seems kinda pricey at first before it arrives, then when you move it around and turn it on you don't regret it too much.

5 out of 5 eggsFunctional

Pros: Slightly better picture than my Dell 2407 WFPB during desktop usage.

Cons: Composite picture quality is inferior to the Dell 2407 WFPB. I will also add when attempting to calibrate a better picture for older hardware (Gamecube) that needs stretching to fully fill the monitors view, the zoom setting will reset during every play-through forcing you to continuously re-calibrate the zoom setting.

Slight buzz behind the monitor (Power Supply area) if you rest your ear above or behind this monitor.

Other Thoughts: Despite some flaws I love it!

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Color is beautiful
24" size is perfect
Adjustment is versatile

Cons: Screen flashes intermittently after 10 minutes of being on. Very annoying. Seems to be the lcd backlight (not led). This didn't start until after 30 day Newegg return period. Dealing with Dell is a pain.

Also, buttons are too easily activated.

Other Thoughts: For the price you might want to try other makers. I have a Dell 20" 2001FP which is still going strong but would not reccommend the U2410.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Adobe Lightroom

Pros: Great for photo editing. Really makes lightroom alot more usable at the 24" size. Colors are accurate. Display is the same from any angle.
The monitor is blindingly bright, actually had to turn ours down a bit. Would definitely buy another.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great color reproduction, viewing angle. Good looks and adjustable, wide range of ports. Came with many cables (VGA, DVI, HDMI, USB, power). This thing puts my cheaper TN panel to shame with it's color reproduction. IPS simply can't be beat!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Will probably grab another one of these in the future, maybe two.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely stunning

Pros: I went from a 19" viewsonic to this monitor, and I cant believe the difference. I use Absolutely stunning for a reason, because it is. I am blown away at the color detail and brightness. I have read so much about this monitor having a pinkish tint, but I cannot see it at all.

There is a over abundance of video ports to the point I dont know what to do with them all. I literally can run all my devices (tv, monitor, or blue ray) and I would still have a video port or two unused. All I need now is the picture in picture to watch tv and play games at the same time!

Cons: The only thing I do not like is the amount of depth needed on a desk. I can push the back of the monitor to the edge of the desk, and it will still stick out 6-7".

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Despite the reviews about brightness, perhaps I have spent to much time staring at multiple monitor displays at work because this thing is not too bright unless you intentionally crank it up. In fact it is gorgeous.
It came with a color calibration sheet(saying the factory calibrated it and the levels used) for Adobe RGB and sRGB and from what I can tell so far the calibration is spot on perfect from the factory.
Nice and sturdy base and the swivel/tilt/pan works beautifully.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsDell Quality = Terrific

Pros: Beautiful monitor. Wide range of ports. Durable (see other thoughts). Had mine for about 3 years now from when they first came out. Still going strong.

Cons: Runs kind hot. The heat is nice in the winter though.

Other Thoughts: Mine had a bottle of Propel spilled on it, it was laying on the couch with the back stand off and friend spilled it on the monitor. I dried it by laying it on its side for a few days to let most of the propel drain and cleaned as much from the panel as I could. Still works great, the power button is a little sticky though.

2 out of 5 eggsNo thanks.

Pros: Adjustable, wide range of ports. No perceived input lag (good for games). Came with many cables (VGA, DVI, HDMI, USB, power).

Cons: Ironically, for a technology that claims superior color reproduction and extremely wide viewing angles, the whole picture goes to grey when looking at it diagonally, like when you are sitting down or standing up in front of it. (My TN panels only slightly dim at same angles, generally keep color saturation.) Whites so bright it gave me a headache; could not turn down without washing out everything.

Other Thoughts: Returned.
