3 out of 5 eggsyou get what you pay for

Pros: Definitely cheap and a decent mount for a good price point. The installation was pretty easy and the mount patterns fit my VESA mount without a problem. The directions mention nothing about making sure you mount it into a stud so if someone has no home repair experience. Goodbye pricey monitor and drywall.

Cons: I think the quality is a little cheap. My iMac weights ~25lbs, which is 14 lbs less than the max weight of 39 lbs. I had to mount it with the arm all the way out to reach a stud. There is a noticeable tilt in some positions. Lucky for me, it's level for the two positions I'll use it in.

Since I had to crank down the bolts extremely tight, it doesn't move very freely now and I have to move it by pulling the arms to try and reduce the stress on the articulating arm.

Other Thoughts: I would probably recommend this to someone looking to hang something that didn't push 20 lbs. I am going to change out the bolts (more heavy duty) and see if that helps me at all.

I've only had it up for a day but it definitely gave me more desk space and allows me to move it to view movies on my couch, which was the original purpose. I am hoping it will last without much hassle.

3 out of 5 eggsNot heavy duty,

Pros: Chinese cheep,

Cons: Chinese quality, which means weak bolts, joints that flex not design for, and bolts that are not as long as the directions call for. The manufacture should leave the useless Allen wrenches out and invest in beefier hardware and tighter joint clearances.

Other Thoughts: I have hung a Sony VAIO VGC-LT15E on this and find the 21.5 pounds to be almost to much. Once it is in position, you won't want to move it. The azimuth adjustment must be tightened, very tight, with a ratchet and 6mm socket driver. Extending the articulating arm to the side leaves the display with a decided tilt, the arm simply can not support the weight with bolts bending and the wall plate flexing. Don't try it for heavier displays.

5 out of 5 eggsNow I can breathe!

Pros: Pretty heavy, solid construction. Smooth operating feel.

Cons: No up and down movement, but I knew that before going in. At this price you won't get all the degree's.

Other Thoughts: Man, so that is what my desktop looks like! I bought an LCD monitor and this mount so that I have more room. I just doubled my usable work area. I can also push the monitor back out of the way to gain more headroom when I need it. I'm still looking for the down side of this setup. Oh, don't let your crumb-snatchers do pull-ups on this thing!

Be sure you mount this puppy into a stud or something very secure. I would NOT attach this to drywall or thin paneling unless you have a very solid, secure, sturdy backing!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mounts

Pros: I purchased three of these arms to mount the other three monitors around the main one. Supporting a 23.5" above my gateway hxd30 and one 20" asus on either side in a triple pane window configuration.

Cons: some verticle adjustment would be useful to better align multiple displays.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Price, arm length and weight capacity.

Cons: The larger mount that comes in the kit is a bit thin, a heavier gaged steel would be better. Also, I think the shipping company played football with the package because it was beatup pretty bad. Even though nothing was missing or damaged the packaging is important IMO.

Other Thoughts: I also needed washers because the screws that come with the kit are long and bottom out before the mount is tight. Add 6-12 washers to the kit and then it would be complete. If you are looking for a good LCD arm this is it. If you decide to order this this make sure you get washers before hand so you aren't searching for them at 2 a.m. and the I.D. hole needs to be about an eighth of an inch.

4 out of 5 eggsvery nice

Pros: Very affordable.
Frees up a lot of desk space.
Easy to install.
You can adjust the horizontal of the monitor to make sure its absolutely level.

Cons: It comes with variations of screws and mounts, but the 4 smaller screws i needed to use to hook the mount on my wife's 24" soyo weren't in the package. The next size up was too long, so i had to stack 4 little washers on each screw.

Other Thoughts: I was amazed that it shipped free AND arrived the next morning. I'm buying 2 more to use with my dual 24"s

3 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Sturdy and works great...

Cons: only if you don't move it. If you do switch frequently between 2 positions the bolts will eventually come lose and fall off.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Mount

Pros: Solid, sturdy. Exactly what I needed at a good price. Doesn't wobble even w/28" monitor!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Using it for my Hanns-G 28". No problem whatever. Drilled the mount plate out to use 3/8" x 3" Lag bolts, but that's just me. Very convenient to swing monitor around to access cables.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Arm

Pros: Easy setup. Using with a 30" SyncMaster 305T LCD Monitor. Supports it just fine.

Cons: No issues.

Other Thoughts: Not expensive when compared to other arms for 30" monitors. Recommended.
