Pros: Extremely good value. Sound, when used for gameing, excellent - the rumble effect makes a hugh differance. Ease of contol for the sound, with inline volume/rumble/mic controler. Comfortable, but not for everyone. Bought these for my wife (she's the hardcore gamer) and she just loves them.
Cons: They do not fit large headed persons well. I have a bit of a fat head (I fed that to you) and find that it does push in on the top of my ears. My wife has not such trouble.
Other Thoughts: Have not tested the mic, so cannot comment on quality.

Pros: Looks good, has a good list of features. Appears to be relatively solid in constructions.
Cons: The most obvious problem with this headset is the fit. It's a nice circumaural design, however the cushions are simply too small the speaker cavity is way too shallow. The result is that instead of the headset resting with the cushioned pads against your skull, the headset rests with the hard speakers against your ears. it's incredibly uncomfortable. WORST fitting headset I've EVER used. If that's not enough for you, the quality of the mic was horrid. There was a loose connection or broken wire somewhere in the chain, so I've never been able to use the mic portion of this headset at all.
Other Thoughts: I'll be searching for something else that works. Saitek, your design is poor and your electronics quality control needs some work. Your sense of style is pretty good and materials seem up to par. My best advice is to study on what Sennheiser manufactures and take good notes.
