3 out of 5 eggsgaming headset

Pros: The sounds are very clear and not overbearing so I don't have to take them off to be able to hear things going on around me. They are very comfortable. This would be the first headset I could say about that.

Cons: After about a week of use I was getting complaints of sounding like static. After fiddling with the part that controls volume and on/off switch it starts working right again.

Other Thoughts: If the headset did not have the volume & on/off control built into the cable I would recommend to someone else but as is, that part makes the headset less durable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little headphones!

Pros: They sound great - surprisingly good bass and very clear sound all around. Price was awesome - got them during black Friday weekend so for the price I had to give 5 eggs. These come with a nice and fairly sturdy hard plastic case - great if you're a parent trying to hide extra wires from curious and rambunctious little ones! LOL.

Also, I do have pretty sensitive ears due to a past of 10 years in a call center and these are very comfortable to wear for a couple hours without much fuss or causing pressure aches. My head is fairly small though, so folks with larger heads might have a different experience and a more snug fit.

Cons: Slightly awkward around the ears if you wear glasses - it's best if you take off your glasses first before putting these on, adjust until comfy, and *then* put your glasses back on. But, that's what you're in for when buying this particular headphone style so I didn't subtract any eggs for it since I knew what I was getting into. I've had better and less awkward designs though in this headphone type but again not weird enough to subtract an egg. Maybe a quarter of an egg but since that's not an option... ;o)

Other Thoughts: Definitely buy these if you like this type of headphone and if you can get them on a good sale. They do seem to compare equally or better than some others in the same price range.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: +Microphone works
+Speakers have good sound for the earpiece type.
+Light weight for a headset

Cons: Very, uncomfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes; doubly so if you wear glasses. Wearing these hurts for durations longer than an hour. Unfortunately Logitech's attempt to make the fit more customizable results in a very awkward ear piece.
After a few weeks of trying different settings on the earpiece and resting positions of the back piece..... it always feels like its just barely staying on my head.

Other Thoughts: This is the first Logitech product to truly disappoint me.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Lightweight
6" Cord
Sound comparable with Logitech desktop speakers (Good)
Doesn't mess with wearer's hair
Can hold a conversation with someone standing near you
Low Cost
Holds high volume well
Acceptable bass
Can be worn for a few hours comfortably
At times forgot I had them on. Would go to show someone a Youtube video and sometimes would take a couple seconds for me to realize that they couldn't hear.
Mic clarity and volume is good.
Physically acceptable. No noted defects or damage expected from design flaws.

Cons: The put a little weight on my classes which causes discomfort after extended wearing.
The mic "boom" is metal meaning that it is solid, but also meaning that it can't be moved in or out. This is a nic-picky con.

Other Thoughts: I was trying to figure out whether to review these as a headset, or as a cheap headset. I decided to review them as a cheap head set.
I kept this in mind when describing the sound. The sound output through out the range is flat and what you'd expect from a cheap supra-anural head set. I paid around 20 for them and I am satisfied with them at that price. The most I would go is 30.

The USB soundcard is acceptable. There is a major difference between it and my Creative card.

The sound is acceptable. Response is pretty flat across the range with no unexpected bright or dull spots.

The bass is acceptable. It's there, but don't expect any boom boom.

The highs are acceptable. They exist, but could be a bit brighter.

The mids are lightly muddy.

The headset will preform best with Rap, good, for techno, and fair for rock. Gaming performance is acceptable.

Don't take this as bad. I got what what I paid for and am satisfied.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mid-range headset.

Pros: I got this headset on sale, and it's a great mid-range headset. I've used a couple of different kinds over the past few years, ranging from high end over the head headsets to behind the neck headsets like this one.
The sound quality on this headset is great, and the adjustable arms are nifty. I'm still a bit baffled at how it manages to stay on my head, but it does and after a while I forget I'm even wearing it.
It's about as comfortable in terms of long term wear (between 4-8 hours) as most behind the neck headsets, in that after a while your ears get a little sore from carrying the headset's weight.

Cons: The only con I can say it has is the microphone's movement is a little odd, it folds downward instead of upward when you're wearing it, so until you get used to that you may get tangled in the headset when taking it off.
