3 out of 5 eggsPretty good but limited game support

Pros: Has a clutch, H-gate manual shifter, paddle shifters, etc. The feedback detail can be quite good, but that varies from game to game. Sometimes you get detailed feedback from road surfaces, and other times it's just an abitrary mechanical shaking.

Cons: Wiring is incredibly cumbersome; it takes about 5 minutes to set the thing up to play and then to put it away again. There's no ideal way to mount the thing; the lap adapter sucks and the best thing I've found for sofa use is a 8"x30" shelf, which is uncomfortable.

Also, the quality is questionable. The first unit I had I returned because of multiple issues. The one I got back works correctly, except that also with this one, I'm unable to engage the automatic "tiptronic" mode with the mechanical switch.

Game support is limited. Very few games support the clutch adequately, and the games that do require special care to engage it.

Other Thoughts: They need to do several things to make this a success.

1) they need to eliminate wires and use bluetooth/batteries, and only have 1 power wire for the force feedback wheel.

2) there needs to be a decent lap adapter. It would be ideal to combine this with a storage case.

3) they need much better support in games. The game I'd really like to have clutch and reverse support in is Burnout:Paradise City because it's a real traffic scenario, but the clutch and brake act as both brake and reverse, which is stupid. GT5 and GRID work well though, but those are purely track games.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a really great wheel, great for anybody who loves racing sims. The force feed back is great, somewhat realistic pedal resistance, and lots of buttons to program. And of course the H-pattern shifter.

Cons: Price
No resistance in the shifter
Alot of cords, needs to be wireless

5 out of 5 eggsNICE

Pros: This is a nice wheel ,put together very solid.Forcefeedback is good ,wheel is a nice size .900 degrees of ratation unheard of.

Cons: the gear shift could be better ,whish it had more buttons on the wheel like the MOMO

Other Thoughts: This is a nice product ,I bought it somewhere else cause this is one thing newegg is to high on.But if you are looking for a great wheel to play driving games ,this is the best wheel you can get for the price ,even tho it is pretty high but worth ever penny if you want a real driveing feel.

5 out of 5 eggsWheel done right

Pros: Incredibly well built wheel!! If you are looking to upgrade your old wheel, look no further, this is the wheel to get, I have owned a MSFF, Log DFP, MOMO and a TSW. Before this my fav was the MSFF wheel, not becuase it was the best wheel but becuase it worked for everything. This wheel does the same, it works for everything. The wheel is buitl very well and seems quite solid. Its only and inch larger than my MSFF but the 1" makes it a little more ergo to drive with 2 hands. There is nothing like the smell of that leather grip too, I'm sure down the road it may not smell so sweet but enjoying it while it lasts. The wheel looks padded but it is solid right under the leather no bit of padding at all. The pedals are great as well, the base weighs a good 10+ pounds which helps it stay in place for the most part. Mine were sitting on concrete which made them slide when I hit the clutch so you will want a piece of carpet under them or a block of wood behind them.

Cons: The forcefeedback is controlled with gears which you can feel with small/slow wheel movemonts with heavy FF. A belt driven system would have been a better alternative but this wheel is probably too cheap for that kind of system.

I would have like to seen some better rubber feet on the pedal base, if you dont race on carpet the pedals will slide when you are getting on and off the clutch really quick.

Other Thoughts: The shifter is a nice addon but feels a bit toyish... Its a solid built item but the shifting mechanism itself just seems out of scale a bit, a longer shaft and stiffer shifting probably would have made it better.

If you have any reservations about buying this wheel, dont worry you will not regret it once you start using it.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good quality

Pros: It has all been said before. This is the best you can get, for the money. Very well made, strudy and very precise.

Cons: Too few buttons on the wheel, only two.
Total buttons are reasonable for sure, but rather awkward to use at times. They would have been better to of had most of them on the wheel it's self.
This is a case of styling overweighing function.

Other Thoughts: You can use a tool called DXTweak to set the pedals up for the most realistic feel I have ever experienced in a race sim controller, especially the clutch. Unlike the clutch of a real car, it takes hold if your foot barely moves from all the way down. This can be taken out by making a deadzone for the first few mm of letting the clutch out.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING

Pros: Awesome steering wheel, force feedback, clutch, brake, and acc. paddle shifters and a ton of buttons to go with that. feels quite realistic

Cons: shifter feels flimsy, like if i shift too hard it will break right off. If you use it on a computer desk the wires can get messy.

Other Thoughts: One thing that would make this a handful more fun would be if the shifter locked into place after releasing the clutch, or wouldnt go into place unless cluck was down (but we cant have everything xD)
It comes with a game called R-Factor, its a trial, and its a good test of the wheel, especially with the force feedback turned upto 100% make sure its tied down good :3

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Amazing feel. The wheel itself feels well built and is very comfortable. Not only that but the force feedback is extremely realistic. Played both GTR 2 and GT5 both with clutch and 6 speed gear box. With GTR 2 the force feedback feels amazing because you can go into a turn and downshift from 6th to 3rd and cut the wheel and the wheel will fight back. I have my wheel on an end table type deal and if i have a tight enough grip on the wheel, it will rotate the table so now i have to counter it with text books. Also with GT5 that game with the clutch is amazing (press where triangle would be at the start of the race to activate clutch) you really can drive a lot easier and smoother with the wheel.

Cons: Kinda pricey but you get for what you paid for and trust me its worth every penny, hard to mount on anything besides a stand designed for the wheel, too many wires.

Other Thoughts: If your a hard core racer i would recommend this wheel. But if your a person who would rather play a need for speed game over a racing sim such as GT5 i would recommend something a little less expensive

5 out of 5 eggsBest around

Pros: The Logitech G25 is the best wheel around (Except the more expensive Fanatec ones) Words really can't explain how great this wheel is. Numerous reviews on NewEgg, videos on Youtube, and other friends helped me made the decision to spend the money on this, and it was well worth it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: NewEgg does not ship the wheel, they use a 3rd party vendor. I don't know which one sent this wheel, but the box was badly torn on delivery and was missing the AC Adapter. I ordered the part from Logitech ($10).
