5 out of 5 eggs5 years and counting..

Pros: No need to go into this again.

Cons: I paid $75.00 for this mouse back in 2008, if you want one now its going to cost over $150.00. Not sure why Logitech decided to discontinue this model, the newer models are nowhere near as good.

Other Thoughts: Have had this mouse for over 5 years and it still works flawless. They sure don't make them like they used to!

4 out of 5 eggsThis was a nice mouse...

Pros: Really liked this mouse a lot. Sad when it died. Very comfortable, nice texture. Highly adjustable weight, weights inserted in back of mouse which made it feel more balanced to me.

Cons: Drivers/software that came with it were useless.

Other Thoughts: Kinda pricey at the time, but would buy again if still available.

2 out of 5 eggsWorst Mouse Ever owned

Pros: Worked awesome, I loved all the mouse had to offer. Great dpi settings I loved the on the fly toggle.

Cons: After three months the cord snapped, it began to coil before long there were wries bulging out of the threaded mesh, eventually the cables began to split where they finally severed and the mouse stopped working.

Other Thoughts: Was a super impressive mouse before the cord committed suicide

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Even though this product is deactivated I want to do a review for people that are looking on newegg not to order but to gather information on this product.

That being said this is an awesome product. The two side buttons need just the right amount of pressure to be pushed and are positioned well. I can't tell you how priceless two side buttons are when surfing the web, not to mention gaming. The blue "crackle" graphics are a little bit slippery if you are a sweaty-hand kind of guy, but the grooves for your thumb and pinky are a grainier finish, which is truly what provides the most grip in my opinion. The high DPI is fine for gaming, although the default setting works great too. Oh, and I never realized how much I would like weights in my mouse.

Cons: There are small reasons why I deducted one egg from this mouse, like the crackle finish being a little bit slippery, but the main reason is that this mouse has it's own personality when it comes to tracking. I have a wood table and in some areas this mouse does not seem to want to track. I've had this mouse for three years and maybe it's from old age, or maybe I didn't notice it before, but i've never used a mouse pad but my current newegg order includes an XL one.

Other Thoughts: All in all this is a great mouse. If I could give it 9/10 I would. I deducted the egg because I am scared that the mouse pad I added to my order, which bumped my shipping up from one dollar to just over seven, is going to have tracking issues. The fear of tracking issues and the added shipping costs of almost that of the mouse pad itself is why this mouse gets four stars.

4 out of 5 eggsFrag-Fest Ready!

Pros: Smooth performance. Shift on-the-fly DPI. Adjustable weight. Grippy texture. Glide-happy huge glide pads. Driven with or without software. Sensitive LR buttons.

Cons: Top button placement just a little iffie. Yes, the cord cover is waaay toooo stiffff!!

Other Thoughts: After using thiss as long as I could stand I went back to my MX518 for one reason only, and that would be the cord jacket being stiff. Hmmmm, I wonder if I can strip it off.. :o)

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This mouse is very comfy, I love the texture of it (not that glossy plastic), great for gaming, and i love the back and forward buttons.

Cons: The clicking noise used to drive me nuts, but then again every mouse does that for me.

--This is the only reason why I'm knocking off the 2 stars :P
I bought this in 7/2009 and it has appeared to have died on me (4/2010)...the buttons still work so it must be something with the laser or diode. (Can't move my cursor on my main windows 7 desktop, or ubuntu 9.10 laptop.) I was expecting this (expensive) mouse to last longer than my cheap microsoft mice. This especially sucks on a student budget. /rant

Other Thoughts: Most amazing mouse I've had until it died. My friend's mouse is the same kind but a year older and is still working great. I just seem to have bad luck...

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Mouse

Pros: *Weights- The additional weights help my precision.
*Pads- The bottom feet are big and slide well. They don't collect much gunk like other mice.
*Fit- It fits into my hand so nicely.

Cons: *Buttons- Selecting between the 2 side buttons aren't too good an idea. The middle mouse button is sensitive. Sometimes when I press it, it rolls, or it selects the tilt buttons.
*Price- Its an expensive mouse, you get what you pay for.
