Is this price correct? I've known of people (there's even reviews) wherein the mouse cost around $100 5 years ago. This seems like price gouging to me. Why does this mouse cost it's weight in gold?

Having previously owned this mouse and received it as a gift around 2007. This mouse is the best mouse I will ever have owned and only have a life of mouse based disappointment to look forward to.
