Great Gaming mouse
- Pros: Great response, very comfortable through continued use. accurate and responsive.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: I've used this mouse for quite sometime for gaming. i've tried out many others including MX510, MX1000 laser, and Razer Diamonback. All of which are great mice too but they still didnt have the feel of the 310. of course its all a matter of personal preference but if you dont got a lot to spend and you want GREAT performance and bang for the buck, this is the way to go.
One of the best mice I've owned.
- Comments: OK, here I am writing about this mouse after using the following for reference:
-Logitech 3-button Gaming Mouse (not made anymore, did not have a scrollwheel) -Logitech Dual-Optial Mouse (no longer made either) -various Microsoft Intellimice -Razer Diamondback -Logitech MX510 -Logitech MX700
This is probably the best mouse manufactured today for overall use and value. Personally I think cordless mice are for those that actually need them due to space restrictions, because every single cordless mouse I've used just does not feel as smooth as a corded one (including new series from Logitech).
This is a great priced mouse, and you really do not need all the extra buttons that their larger mouse have. Personally I miss the old 3-button gaming mouse (I went through 3 of them though) but now I use a scroll wheel more often. I would buy this mouse again any day over the higher priced models. Been using it for over a year and it still works great.

Great, one problem
- Pros: awesome mouse, the buttons work great, the scroll wheel works perfect, and i can't understand how i lived without the foward and back buttons for web browsing before this mouse.
- Cons: the "quick switch program selector" (the button right below the scroll wheel) does not work. it simply dosn't do anything at anytime. I'm running vista 64 bit, and i might have gotten a bad one, but i didn't want to through a huge huge with a cheap product
- Pros: Very responsive, extremely comfortable design, perfect button placement. Scroll wheel is neither too resistant nor too smooth. I can't imagine a better mouse provided you only want to use 5-6 buttons.
- Cons: None at all.
- Other Thoughts: I first purchased this mouse five years ago and it has seen very heavy use. Recently it started giving me some trouble.
The action in the right mouse button is almost gone so it feels a bit unresponsive in games that demand a lot of right clicking. The scroll wheel has also intermittently stopped working. I went to a few local stores to try out some newer models, trying to keep an open mind. But in the end nothing felt as perfect as this mouse.
It probably won't last you forever, but I'd consider it to be pretty durable. I really did put it through a lot of use and some abuse.
Great Mouse at a Good Price
- Pros: Plugged it in and worked right away.
Can easily program additional buttons to perform different functions/open different applications. Forward and Backward buttons on the side are high enough that my thumb isn't constantly clicking them by accident. Ergonomic design is comfortable (I'm a righty).
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: I accidentally spilled juice on my old mouse so needed a new one right away - couldn't stand my old track ball that I used until this one arrived.
I personally dislike cordless mice - they've always seemed less accurate and my rechargeable batteries always seemed to die within a day or two (yet they'll last for weeks in my Xbox controllers). This mouse worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in and downloaded the driver for it. It's been accurate and fast for what I need it to be. The only computer game I play is the Sims 3 and that doesn't involve hard-core mouse movement, but I do a lot of editing and creative work in Photoshop and Illustrator and I haven't had any problems while working in these with this mouse.
Cheap price for a great working mouse.
